What is YOUR favorite Conceal carry gun?

I don't really have a single most favorite; I have several I'm equally comfortable with. Season, clothing, venue and etc. tend to pick the gun more that I do. I just make sure I'm competent will all the choices.

Well, I carry a S&W Model 38-0, so I guess it's my favorite (right now).

But I think I'd like to have a Ruger SP101 in .357 Mag.

Xds9 and Beretta px4 Storm (in .40) aiwb (Crossbreed and Blackdog Concealment) or an LCP or LCRx in front right pocket using a Desantis Nemesis or a Sticky holster. On occasion carry a lightweight Ruger Sr1911 or a Ruger SP 101 .357 with the 4.25 barrel IWB (Crossbreed and White Hat holster) at 4 o'clock in coat/jacket/ hoodie weather.

Depending on what I'm wearing either my LCR .357 or my LCP .380. Pocket carry for both. On the rare occasion I wear something large enough to holster carry, I like my Citadel 3.5" 1911.

No 92 fs is small enough to really fall into a CC category.
May as well carry a 1911 full size.

My Gen 4 Glock 19, Walther P99 AS, or Walther PPS, but pending another 200 flawless rounds, I suspect my new Gen 4 Glock 26 will become the go-to.

SA EMP 9mm. It's a gun that I didn't like that much at first but after spending a lot of time together, we've come to a mutual respect.

G26 or SP101 2 1/4 357 in cooler weather , G42 for summer , sure glad Glock worked the bugs out of it and got it back so fast it's a nice little shooter and so light to carry . But if I had to choose just one all around favorite ... My G26 !

You have never tried a beretta 92 compact

EX,

Obviously, you have never tried a BERETTA 92 Compact. It is not only more compact than a 1911, it is still more compact than a Commander size.

Plus, even with the full size BERETTA 92 you have several advantages over a 1911. Double action trigger and it is a very good one at that. You also have twice the magazine capacity and greater control due to reduced recoil. Plus, it is more reliable!

I'm not really a big fan of the 1911 and its' SA, but to say that the M92 is more reliable is a pretty big stretch. The 1911 has proven itself with being the sidearm of the US military for more the 80 years, 4 wars and countless conflicts. The only reasons that the US MIlitary went with the M92 was due to pressure from NATO to adopt the 9mm Luger, lighter/higher ammo capacity and lighter recoil.

If the 1911 was such a terrible pistol, one would have to ask themselves; why is it that the SOG community continues to use it as one of their choices as well as the Marines going back to it if the M92 was superior? http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/07/2...ck-to-their-old-guns-colt-45-caliber-pistols/

As for being more compact, you're talking about a single stack (1911) verses a double stack (M92) which increases the thickness of the pistol, thus increasing its' signature making it harder to conceal.

And while you can point to the fact that my primary carry is a 9mm (Kahr TP9) I also carry a Kahr P45 during the winter for the caliber's penetration on winter clothing and if I'm really serious a .357.

My favorite is usually the last one I bought.

This!!

But there is an underlying theme where it tends to be a double action revolver with a 2-4" bbl

The current hot ticket is a 3" Rossi 44spl ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433805067.833380.jpg

The total titanium Taurus 85 is not only beautiful but light enough of forget about having it on ImageUploadedByTapatalk1433805176.246430.jpg
