So I recently made a pricey new purchase and need to sell one of my favorites to not get in trouble with the boss. It is hard to get rid of any of these since I have been weeding out guns that do not fit and I am down to the keepers. Out of the following which would YOU get rid of. Me...I have no urgent need to keep any. I have no preference over any type of action. I like them all equally.

Sig p226 tacops 9mm
Dan wesson Eco 9mm
S&W 627 PC 8rd 2"
Wilson Combat Beretta 92
S&W 686 no dash 8 3/8 exc cnd
S&W 586 no dash 8 3/8 exc cnd w/ box
S&W 17-4 8 3/8 exc cnd

I am agreeing....., but why get rid of the Beretta...currently only 2500 have been made and are hard to get a hold of? Now I sound biased towards one...

I'd get rid of the Beretta and definitely keep the 586
You've obviously never seen a Beretta out of the Wilson shop or realize they're only making a small number of them. It's a collector's piece, and the workmanship is on par with their 1911s.

Ditch the 226 Tacops - easily replaced, not worth much, and certainly not collectible.

Have to agree with the majority here and go with getting rid of the Wilson Beretta and keeping all of the revolvers. Not a big Beretta 92 fan, even from Wilson as the P226 just works better for me in terms of design ergonomics and handling. If push came to shove and you had to get rid of another I might consider selling either the 686 or the 586. Nothing wrong with them but just seems like duplication of purpose with those two.

yah, tough choice. All those are nice pistols. I have no idea but as others have mentioned, I'd sell the one that is most easily available to buy again down the road, or in other words, the least "collectable" one of the bunch.

As much as I love my Sigs, I would start with the tac ops.

Do you darndest to keep the revolvers.

The anything Wilson puts out is bound to bring a nice price. If that's what it takes to keep the others, I might sell that one, too.

The Sig without question, IMHO. You won't have any problem replacing it down the road.

As aarondhgraham pointed out, I too would either brown bag it or even learn how to fast before selling any of mine.

I say eat brown bag for a while,,,
And keep them all.

But that's just me.

Donating plasma pays $50 a pop around my parts... You can save a life and save a one of your pistols at the same time... Just sayin'. OP, just wondering, what's the ballpark figure on how much you NEED to recuperate? Also, when a question similar to you're was asked on another forum I'm a member of, it was suggested that the gun be sold to a friend or family member who would agree to sell it back in the future...

I would sell the 586 or 686, as I would not need both. I like all the others too much.

1st would be Beretta because i dislike them, even if Wilson worked it over.

2nd would be 686 because its a more common version of the 586.

The Sig P226 and the S&W 686 are the ones that still exist in current runs and you could replace them tomorrow if you had to. The rest are keepers and collectible.

Thats true, id get rid of the 686. Depending of exact specs it may be the same as your 586.
