I like the Mark IV Lite. I've also added the 5.5 inch target barrel and the 10 inch barrel just for laughs. The versatility of the Mark IV is a big advantage. I've installed Volquartsen trigger kit, Carolina Crusher compensator and Cornerstone Safety. I also switched the stock grips for...
I always mount my own scopes. It helps to have a set of levels and a laser. The laser lets me get close enough but final adjustments are made on paper at 50 yards.

I'm only shooting 9 power right now for that target at 25 yards. Next week I'll shoot 50 yards and will use 24.
I shot a few groups with 24 today and it's unbelievable for me.
You are going to like the ACME bullets. I like the way they come packaged. They've been very accurate and reliable in my S&W 929 and I must have shot over 50K of them.
Good luck and good shooting
Steven
Good shooting.
Mount the Viridian. You can get 11° mounts from Amazon for less then 10 dollars. I went with a little more expensive Wild Hunter mounts for $25. They are real secure and can be converted to 1 inch 30 mm or 34 mm scopes.
Here it is on my CZ 457 Varmint
Shot my CZ 457 Varmint today with a new scope, a Viridian 6 X 24 50mm in Wild Hunter rings. It made a big difference in my scores and with SK Semi Auto I was shooting bug holes at 25 yards. Next week I'll bring it to 50.
I got my replacement Viridian Sunday, mounted it yesterday and headed to the range this morning. I used Wild Hunter mounts and they fit perfectly. The scope is everything it's advertised to be. Adjustments are consistent and reliable and I love the reticle.
I shot my highest score today on...
I won't shoot Aguila again. I had two cases detonate and blow out the back of the case. I sold all my Aguila after that.
Blazer is extremely accurate in most of my guns. Unfortunately not in my 457 Varmint. I have a few bricks of Norma TAC 22 and they work well for practice ammo. I'm...
Got my replacement Sunday, mounted it today and torqued everything as per instructions.
I really like the reticle. I hope this one works. Had to send my first one back because it wouldn't adjust elevation or windage. I had a difficult time with the bore sight so I'm hoping it does better out...
Cleaned my CZ 457 22lr. Had to use a. 17 cal rod and .20 brush and mops. CZ'S barrels are real tight. I also finished up by using my .17 jag and .22 cal pellets. Scrubbed the breach with. 22.cal bore brush.
Now,at my next range trip I'll have to season the barrel before shooting groups.. it...
CZ 457 Varmint with Jard trigger set at 4 ounces. Shoots great and likes Blazers as well. Blazers are Mini Mags without the copper wash. I was lucky enough to buy a couple of cases when they were $18 a brick. They can be had now for around $33 if you get lucky.
Steven
OK, I'm giving it another try. I just ordered another one for $83. If this one works I'll be very happy. Now I know to go through Viridian if it doesn't work out.
Steven
I sent mine in a week ago for replacement and instead of sending me a new scope they refunded my money. Oh well, guess I'll be doing without the Viridian. Shame because I liked it when I got it other than the fact that it didn't adjust for windage or elevation.
Steven
I've had that vice for a number of years and like it a lot. It's easy to set up for any of my rifles and is very steady. When setting up a scope it's nice to put the rings in the bottom of the vice. Holds everything.
I went with the CZ 457 Varmint. I like the stock on this one the best. It's a great shooter and I think I was lucky enough to get one with good figuring on the Turkish Walnut stock.
Right now it has a Vortex 4 X 18 Crossfire II scope on it but I have a Viridian on the way that's 6 X 24. My...
