I think you'll need something custom. Sturmgewehr did a video with Marc Krebs of Krebs custom Rifles awhile back and they were playing with some really trick AKs. My money is on Krebs coming out with the first commercialy-available 'free float', or at least really accurate barrel shroud, for an...

About the AR332, IIRC the issues with skewed reticles were due to mis-aligned mounts, and Trijicon bases made everything square and copacetic, right? Will these things be okay on an A2 carry handle?
...main feature is that most of their optics dispense with batteries and employ tritium illumination, almost always backed-up with fiber-optic* illumination. The Reflex is a solid entry-level sight, costing about what an EOTech costs after the mount is factored in. Not as versatile as a...
^ Why not just use the Noveske barrel from the get-go? Don't they use M249 barrel blanks? Double-chrome lined and the best possible barrel steel. I think that in a semi-auto AR-15 it would the the proverbial cockroach. Long after you and I are gone, it'll still be around.

If you're worried about rust, run a couple patches soaked in trans fluid through the barrel after cleaning. It worked beautifully for a non-chromed-barreled AK I had, even after shooting corrosive ammo. The chrome lining is more for durability. Military tests, at least with the...

The difference between the models you mention is that the WASR comes with a chrome-lined hammer forged barrel and was made in Romania. The GP75 is a parts kit gun with a non-chromed US barrel.
Now, converting a Saiga is truthfully the best and purest method. A WASR-10 will...
I thought about the police as a career (the local CC has the police academy as part of an associates CJ program). But then I realized I'd have to tow the 'blue wall' or I'd get treated worse than an IAB investigator.
Tony,
I've been looking around as well and it seems as if almost every e-retailer is sold out right now. Look and see if there are any gun shows in the area, both the ones I've been to last month there were more than a couple vendors selling USGI aluminum mags for $8 a pop.
You landed a security position?
I think that if the job carries a higher risk of needing to deploy one's sidearm then you should use what is more familiar to yourself. Or, if you're willing to learn a new gun system like the Glock, it would ensure your personal property isn't involved if bad...
Lightening-up the front end of an AK is like trying to make an old muscle car handle like an RX-8. It's remotely possible but o,nly with alot of money, carbon fiber, and a welder. lol...Your idea of removing and replacing the gas block with a sight is about the best you can do in this case. Not...
...Ever hear of Epic Mealtime? They did a crossover w/ FPS Russia, where 'Kyle' took Harley Morenstein, the ringleader of Epic Mealtime, to an indoor gun range to shoot a MP5K and a FA Glock 19. "So first of all, always keep finger off of trigger, you see me do it sometimes because I am a**hole."
First off sarduy, pimp paracord wrap on the stock.
No offense, but it looks like the muzzle and the tip of the tape measure are misaligned judging by the relationships of the shadows in the photo. It looks as if the tape measure is an inch forward of where the barrel crown is.

Century couldn't have been bothered to properly headspace these guns, so sometimes they ground the bolt face to get it to go into battery. The results are literal shredding of brass and FTEs abound. If you get one of those then you basically have to have the barrel re-spaced and the bolt...
Operating within reason...
A 20x102mm Anzio mag-fed. Add a suppressor, an extra magazine, and reloading equipment for the cartridges(including AP bullets).
It will be a rifle in WI. Michigan law doesn't apply to Wisconsin. Just keep it cased, separated from ammo, ect until you get to your shooting spot. Also, apparently there is no more safety inspection, you just send the form in.
I'd say a SLR-106 or (tuned)WASR-3. Both with proper mags are great 5.56 guns with chrome-lined barrels, and one can get magwell adapters to feed from AR-15 mags. Plus, the
SLR-106 has a folding stock, and are cheaper than AKS clones or AR-15s.
