I'm sorry I wasn't clear.....
I have a spare mini 14 barrel, and was thinking about making a falling block receiver for it. in 22 TCM.
Thanks for the reply, let's go again now that I have given more info.

I have a Remington 700 in 270 win. At 50 yards I couldn't hit a pie plate. After free-floating the barrel I can get quarter size 3 round groups at 100.

I have a few Astras in 22 short, can you provide details on the hold open followers? The only thing I dislike anout these pistols is when somebody dry fires them becausee tgey cant count.
The idea of fireeing blanks is very novel and you did a great job, but not of interest to me.... last time I...
Hope all the folks out there know, a classic lee loader will full lengrh size streight walled cartridges, but only neck sizes bottle neck cases.
This is important!!!! Only reload cases for the rifle that they were shot from, otherwise you may end up with the mother of all jams when you chamber...
I have had a 760, in my very early days. Being naive, I loaded some once fired brass, with a "wack-a-mole" classic lee loader, not realizing it only neck sizes. Remington is renound for tight chambers. Any good mechanic knows that anything with less than a 7% taper creates a positive lock...
Hello, been awhile since I have posted,
Anyway, I have an RIA 22TCM/ 9mm doubles stack combo. I really like it, but....... They only come with 1 magazine. I would like more, before the political climate relegates me to no choices. I cannot find mags, I have heard they maybe Beretta, 38 super...
I have been looking for a extra magazine for a 1911 double stack 22 TCM from Rock Island Armory with no joy.
In the past I have heard that they utilize a magazine, slightly modified,
From another hand gun.
Possibly a Beretta in 38 super?
Not sure.... Input please, political climate has raised...
If the rust is very light scrub it with graphite in a carpenters pencil, wipe with dry soft cloth. This will not harm blueing. Pictures would be very helpful.

Make sure you use the same anchor point each and every time, as has already been said your eye will self center the ring if not forced. front sight and target should be your focus.

Don't forget, the insides/springs can and will rust too.
I use factory and Masen, mine are all Black-T coated inside and out as well as the springs. Cost $10 each but may get a discount if you have several done.
I send them mine disassembled, and sand blasted which gets me a much greater...
If you are a trophy hunter, and only get a week to hunt, then you really , for the most part have your best chances within 20 minutes after day break, and within the last 20 minutes of shooting light.
That said, most rifles can be made to shoot minute of pie plate, and most deer can be taken...
I have one, mine is a double stack.
I like your write-up, except......... The 22TCM case is longer than 9mm.
It is actually a shortened .223 case necked down.

I'm really surprised that no one has complained about misfires, I have seen a few guys have this happen to them while shooting my Buffalo classic in 45/70.
They hit the trigger and let off allowing the transfer block to fall before setting the cartridge off. I have 4 friends who have the same...
I won't get into the semantics, if you are willing to pay what he wants, and he is willing to sell for what you are willing to pay, it's a win win. I wouldn't allow anything for the scope. That said, I would really encourage you to read thru this thread...
