I have been really jonesing for a Professional model from Springfield Armory.
They are making them in 9mm now as well as 45, railed or clean.
I probably won’t carry it, but plan to shoot the snot out of it and keep it next to the bed.
I’m likely to go with the rail for a light.
What do you...

I haven’t shot anything since I got COVID in February. My doctor says I’m not “recovered” but “recovering”
But I went shooting today, I’m...
Gents,
I have a SA lightweight professional operator. Long name but it's a great gun.
My problem is I have shot it loose, slide to frame movement. (God knows how many rounds) Aluminum frame, steel slide.
Still shoots but you can actually feel it in recoil. Groups are opened up enough to notice...
This is probably a dumb question but...
Federal HST is no doubt good carry ammo. And I do carry it in .45 and 9mm (gold dot in .38)
But I was ordering from TDS tactical as I have before and I notice Federal HST 1,2,3,&4.
Same size boxes, prices
What is the difference?
44 magnum n frame for carry gun.
What is your opinion on barrel length, 3 or 4 inch?
I have a model 29 that has the sweetest action I have seen in a long time. But it's 6 1/2 inch is not good for carry.
I want to cut it down so it isn't just a range queen.
What do you think?
Went to the range today with my Freedom Arms model 97 in 357.
I had shot the third cylinder full of 125 grn JHP with 7.5 grn of Unique. Loaded the cylinders like normal. Half cock, loading gate, load the cylinder, close gate, full cock, trigger release, hammer forward. BOOM
I was on the...
So, I shoot a lot of handguns and use a couple of Dillon machines for them.
223 is not a high volume caliber for me but I wanted to try a Lee Loader rather than spend more for a Dillon set of dies. Anyway.
I got my 52 Grn Hornady BTHP
N-135 and a buffalo horn bowl for dipping
Clean used...
I am going to start reloading 357 sig. So I'm looking for tips and tricks or at least recommendations.
I have two Dillon 550s and reload for 9, 40, 357 mag, 38, 45acp, 44mag and 45/70 (single stage Lee)
Right now I have nothing for the 357sig so.......
Dies
Powder
Bullets (I carry 125 grn)

Gents;
I have a slide that has been milled for a j point red dot sight.
What other red dot or reflex sight will fit?
Delta point?
Burris fastfire?
Aimpoint?
I was looking at this gun in Guns and Ammo today and can't help but think,
Fixed barrel
Recoil spring around the barrel
Safety on backstrap
It reminds me of an HK squeeze cocker but with a safety on the blackstrap instead of a cocking lever on the front. (But it is a lot cheaper than a P7)...
We don't have a gun registry
We don't register our guns
When we buy a gun the record is "destroyed" in 30 days
The 7743 is only kept by the dealer and only released to police and ATF
So where are all these maps and list coming from?
I understand that ccw licenses are public but the maps...
I have seen gunsmiths that polish a stripe around the drag line of a revolver cylinder, Grant Cunningham for one.
Does this do any good?
If it does how is it done?
OK,
A friend of mine just got this from his fathers estate.
Fabrique Nationale D'Armes
De Guerre S A
Herstal Belgique
SN 39429
Looks familiar but I can't place it for sure
What is it?
I got my Super Carry Custom back from Robar.
Matte Roguard on the exterior and NP3 on the interior
Added a set of vz grenade grips and its all set
Loves 230 grain HST.
I've be jonesing for a bobed 5 inch with some blackout matte finish
