My Gun Room, had an extra room in the house and decided to make a gun room. Took me 3 weeks to build. I have a reloading section, cleaning table and brass cleaning table.
I think your right. If I do send this to Ruger, will they fix it? I only had the gun less then a year (from being brand new) before the firing pin broke which I know is covered by the warranty, but wondering if they would remove the rollpin at a cheaper price then a gunsmith. Also, what is the...
Yes it's a mess, I tried to drill it out from the otherside but the punch is to far in, and the drill bits can't drill out the steel. I tired to use a smaller punch and almost broke that one. I used the right size punch to start with and the gun on a vise, and the roll pin didn't move at all...
I have a Ruger LC9 and the firing pin mushroomed. I bought all the parts and replace it. But while trying to take the rollpin out to get to it, the punch broke inside of it :cuss:. I tried to drill it out with on luck, since the punch is harden steel. Any ideas? The don't won't to send it to...
I have been having problems sizing .223 cases using Hornady's sizing die. As you can see from the picture at the end of the case it makes a ledge, but it only does it the one side of the case. Also it only does it with mil brass, ie WC, LC brass. I use Hornady's One shot case lube. I used to use...
I guess I didn't think of that, I do not have any gun with the same caliber, expect for 9mm, which I use one as home protection with factory bullets, that never goes to the range and has never seen a reloaded bullet (Ruger LC9)
I just got a Hornady Case feeder a couple of days ago that I added to my Hornady LNL AP press with ezject. I'm having some problems that I'm wondering if I got a bad unit or are they nothing but problems?
1) Case hits leading edge of shell plate, the cam wire is maxed out, adjusted left pawl...
Roger4314, everything was already figured out, if you start from the beginning of the post, page 1, you will see what was the problem, thanks for your input
After further inspecting my bolt, it appears the the lugs are fine, but the bolt head has side to side movement, about .05 of an inch, is this normal? I know I need to get the gun checked, but should I just replace the bolt before I take it to a gunsmith or turn it into savage?
After starting this post and everything I have done, I believe my problem is over pressure still, not light loads or fouling, but thanks for the advise. My gun is not that old (4 months) and it was completely cleaned when I starting have this problem, I didn't have this problem with lighter...
Thanks for your input, I'm so glad I posted to ask the questions before I kept using these bullets, I have 6 other reloading books, but at the time of reloading these bullets, I only had speer. I checked my other books last night and Lee has them loaded between 36-38.5, and lyman doesn't even...
