I don't know the name of the stock, but it's a regular stock and the shells load into the stock. I'm not sure how many shells it fits, but you always see 1 on the right side of the stock.
I'm from CA, but I'm about to finish school and find a job.
And no, I'm not determining my job according to the gun laws.... but it may sway my final decision. There isn't a particular state I have in mind... I just never owned an AR15 and thought it would be cool to finally own one.
Anyone have a website that points to the laws for an AR15?
I'm talking a full functioning AR15 as it was meant to be and not the CA legal watered down version.
Or even tell me which states it is illegal.
I was thinking of getting a Glock 17 and am thinking about holsters.
Is it possible to use a Glock 17 with a surefire light and use a holster with it? And if the light is detached, can you use the same holster?
For those that put skateboard tape on your guns...
How often do you have to reapply the tape?
And if you wanted to remove it, could you do it completely as if there was never any tape?
BTW, I'm not wrapping my whole grip with the tape. Just putting some on the front and back and...
I'm trying to justify some purchases I want to make, for instance getting a Springfield TRP over a loaded.
I've also spent so much money upgrading my computer for gaming. (I seriously need new hobbies.:D)
But are guns forever? Do you buy guns with the intent to never sell them and to use...
I never see pictures of special forces or swat teams using stainless steel guns.
Why is that?
I've heard the excuse that the silver flash would give away their position, but Swat teams aren't exactly stealthy, so why don't cops use stainless guns?
So there's a gun shop near my home that prices all their guns at MSRP or above. There aren't too many gun stores in my area so they have the market covered.
Today, I see a stainless TRP for 1229, which is less than MSRP. They're having a sale on just the ones in stock.
So is there some new...
Is it better to go with the CMP or through garandguy?
Garandguy seems to have better quality garands. But then again, the CMP seems to have the CMP Select Grade.
I plan on going through garandguy and getting the rifle with the new barrel, so I have a choice.
I think I'll go with 30.06. This is the original round, right?
And CMP has surplus ammo for cheap too.
Yeah, you're post and Samuraigg is what got me second guessing.
Up till now, all I hear is praise for this guy, but now that he's popular, he might be slacking.
In defense of garandguy though, his website says that he's been having trouble getting emails. Maybe he couldn't get your emails...
Well, I'm planning on getting a garand from the garandguy and .308 is familiar to me because of movies, games, media, etc.
I know the 30.06 is the classic garand round, but having the garand is good enough for me if the .308 offers more advantages.
I won't be reloading. Are there over the...
