I've always worn Muck boots hunting here in Maine. My last pair wore out and leaked so a few weeks ago I purchased a pair of Under Armour all leather Brow Tine boots. They have a gore tex lining and 800 grams of insulation, which is good because my feet get cold quickly when sitting in my stand...
I was just reading about Kimber rifles (I'd love to own one some day...) and was wondering what the difference is between the 84M and 84L. Is it just the action? It looks like the 84M houses a shorter action, e.g. .308, 7mm-08 where the 84L houses a longer action, e.g. 30-06 and .270 WIN.

I have a BRJ, with a laminated stock and fluted heavy barrel. It's been a tack driver for me. I bought it a few years ago when I was in a local gun shop, not known for its low prices, and found this Savage new in box, for $299. Not sure why he had is priced so low, but I couldn't pass it up.

Since I got my Browning X-Bolt in .270 Win last November, I've only had it to the range a few times. The only ammo I had shot through it was Hornady Superformance 130 gr. SST factory loads, as I bought numerous boxes when they were on sale at the time I got the rifle and I don't reload. I've...
I also have a Tikka T3 and an X-Bolt. The bolt on my T3 is smoother than the X-Bolt and I'd go as far as to say the Tikka probably is a tad more accurate, but not by much. I just significantly upgraded the glass on the X-Bolt and haven't shot it yet, so that might even them out.
After doing some searching, it appears that any type of hammer extension for a TC Impact doesn't exist. It's a little, short nub of a hammer and can be a bit tricky to pull back with a scope mounted, especially while wearing gloves.
With that said, has anyone ever figured out a work around...
I may start keeping an eye out for them at reasonable prices. To keep the thread on track, I'm still interested to hear about any personal experience with this ammo. It looks like a good company and I like the looks of their offerings.
