I plan to shoot mine with iron sights first, then mount the scope.
I want to know just how much the scope helps......
did you have a problem with BB ammo in the past?
except .45 Colt which is .452 for post war, and .454 for prewar.....
congrats to all who entered - especially the winners!
thanks for hosting - and I'm looking forward to the next match! :)
IIRC, that scope free floats in the rings - and the spring is intended to return it to zero.
IIRC, this was done per special order for South Africa.... o_O
2nd effort - a bit bigger gun
Ruger SSS, 9-1/2" bbl
Armscor 40 gr JHP
much happier with...
here is my first effort
S&W kit gun, 4" bbl
CCI AR Tactical
didn't set the word on fire,...
seems they were a crap shoot - mine worked (and still does) just fine..
it became my favorite truck gun.
yeah, about like an AK.....
Any hint as to how far in the future? :D
IIRC, the newer RP LSWC-HP is much harder than the older ammo.
That could make a big difference in a 2" bbl.
Personally I would not use any smokeless powder, especially pistol powders in it.
BP operates at a much lower pressure level.
I see no problem with this - and near the end I always wish I had more time, so.....
sounds like fun, now if only I can get my Hakim to group well.....
yeah, the 14" gets pretty heavy for off hand...
most of my offhand guns were 10", from the old days...
is that a 12 inch bbl?
did you try it first to see how it functioned?
some guns just like T-bolt. years ago I shot IHMSA silhouette in my TC Contender using it out to 50 yards, then switched for 75 and 100 yards.
Well, this opens up a few new guns for me... :D
