I don't see that a competent cut and crown would adversely effect accuracy, with the exclusion of losing some long range velocity. I would love...
That's an option, but I'm not a big fan of it now. I love the accuracy (with the Black Hills 68gr I use I shoot around 0.625"-0.750" 10 shot...
I have the Nikon in question and love it. My only complaint is the 1/8 adjustments and 1" tube.
In looking for a good smith to do some barrel work for me. The upper is a RRA 24" varmint model. I'd like it cut down to 22" or 21" with a...
Also in the broad >$800 scope range I have no experience, but have heard great things from Nightforce and USoptics, along with your mentioned choices.
Just out of curiousity what are the actual distances you'll be realisticly shooting? A 300WM should get you to 1200-1500yds.
How much money? $300> Nikon Buckmaster (love mine), $400> Super Sniper, Falcon Menace, $400< Nikon Monarch

A .270 is a necked down 30/06. It can and will fire out of one, even though it's dumb to try. Along with a 25/06 and .280 Remington, maybe others.
I'm with [email protected] on this. The only reason to use a bipod is for varmint hunting or target shooting.
Also where are the pics? I want...
Yup, get on periodically. Mostly on AR15.com though.
Those places are nice. I found one recently.
I've got a .17hm2 barrel and hogue stock coming in for my 10/22. I'll try to get a target up.
any high capacity handgun
Not a list of particularly what I want, but a...
Why do you need long distance, for a strictly SD rifle? The only thing that will fit that bill that I can think of is an AR and that will be over...
Out of my guns.

I have a Kimber for HD. As much as I hate to I think I may pick up a Glock for CC. I think they're butt ugly as well (no offense to Glock guys,...
