The barrel/mag tube clamp thing is the primary concern I have with this concept. However, it's a unique way of solving a (possibly nonexistent) problem. I like the side-mounted slide release, though I wonder if it's actually any superior to the Mossberg's behind the trigger guard, which IMO is...
The only one I can think of is the Beretta 1301 Tactical Mod 2. Though the 2 stands for 2 grand LOL
There are of course like 80 Turkish semi auto bullpups and AR-looking monstrosities.
I’m not really up on sporting scatterguns… is there anything new or exciting you’re thinking about?
Nobody currently makes a correct size .36 Remington.
Uberti 1861 Colts have a more correct length and diameter barrel compared to the Pietta 1861 which is made from the same .44 barrel assembly and length as the 1860.

I don’t have a .36 NMA and have little interest in one. It’s not a historically accurate size and I prefer the thump of .44s anyway. I do have a .44 1851 “Navy” and like it quite a bit. I realize that doesn’t make sense.
Pepper: Larry called. He's got another buyer for the Jackson Pollock in the wings. Do you want it? Yes or no.
Stark: Is it a good representation of his spring period?
Pepper: No... The Springs was actually the neighbourhood in East Hampton where he lived and worked, not 'spring' like the season...
uhhhhhmmmm..... :uhoh: forgive me but...
.410 bore SAAMI= 13,500 psi for 3" chambered guns.
444 Marlin maximum chamber psi = 51,500 psi
Unless you're saying you loaded 444 SHOTSHELLS and fired them in .410s. If so, okay then.
marked .223 but it's a 5.56 chamber. Except the rare and discontinued Mini-14 TARGET model with the harmonic damping thing on the barrel, they are all actually 5.56 chambers, though the receivers are marked .223.
I’ve stripped an Uberti SAA with vinegar, without disassembling it fully, and rinsed it well with hot water and then hosed it with Ballistol. I stripped it fully a few months later and found no rust on internal parts. YMMV
I like ballistol for this kind of thing because it’s water soluble and...
It depends on what you mean by "okay." It won't blow up the gun. But it probably won't cycle and accuracy may be poor, and you will definitely get bulged and possibly split cases. It's not something you want to do intentionally or regularly. Case dimentions are not the same at the base/web. The...
This is definitely not published but you might also look into "the load" and try Unique or Red Dot reduced loads if you're using lead bullets. The Load is supposedly good for only .30 caliber service-type cartridges but it might be fun to figure it out for the 6.5.
I load reduced-power loads...
