    Hi-power grips

That's what I found with the factory SA grips on my SA-35... sore thumb, and sore pinky. One of the reasons I went with the Hogues was because the thumb grip area was not checkered. I've never had grips 'hurt' me before, and particularly on something as benign as a full-size 9mm. I had those...

    7.62 NATO Question

Then you will be fine... that's what I load the bulk of my 145-150grn FMJ's for... not an LRB, just a Socom16. What barrel do you have on your action? If it's a generic barrel, I don't see any problems with your COL, but I understand some match barrels can be picky about it... but that doesn't...

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

Dust = dirt... not sand. Not saying there isn't some sand mixed in there, but unless you are standing there huffing a cloud of sand, I would think the risk is relatively low. Nothing surprises me anymore.

CHANGED RAM ON MY RCBS SUPREME II PRESS!!

You beat me to it... I was going to suggest looking there. One other thing you could have done, is turn the ram around 180^ and try it that way... unless you use the primer arm (assuming it has one, I'm not that familiar with that press.)

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

There is a difference between pool DE, and natural DE... I have both here at the house, they are quite different. I don't know if they add more silica to pool DE, or maybe it's refined more... dunno...

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

It's also an inhalation hazard, along the lines of asbestos. Do NOT put it in your tumbler. I work with Diatomaceous Earth (DE) every day... I'm in the pool business. There are 2 kinds of DE... pool filter DE, which also has silica in it, and natural DE... with no silica. If you want to run...

    7.62 NATO Question

I would tend to agree... except for the Hornady bullet. It's my understanding the Hornady bullet was intended for the M1 Garand, hence the high cannelure. I just seat those bullets to 2.780" (in the 7.62mm), ignoring the cannelure, and call it a day. Over the years, using different brand...

Anyone Ordered from Missouri Bullet Company Lately?

I tend to still see supply and shipping issues, not only with firearm and handloading items, but anything generally. We are still seeing issues from the Wuhan Flu Nonsense. I try to be patient... but sometimes it's hard.

    Vibrating case cleaner media.

I buy the big (25# or thereabouts) bags of lizard bedding off Amazon. My last batch was extremely dusty, more than any other batch previously... and thank goodness I have my tumbler in the garage, not the house. I've found the 'media' you buy from the retailers... Midway, Natchez, etc... to be...

What To Do with These Bullets

I had some of those same bullets... I found them quite accurate. I loaded 1000 of them over H335. I can't stand odd bullets setting around, or partial boxes on the shelf... like you, I just pick a load that worked well enough (from previous load testing...) and get rid of them. Waste not...

    help picking a press

Actually, it's a very smart business model. If you buy a SquareDeal, for example, and get good service out of it, you are likely to upgrade/expand with Dillon products in the future. Dillon has a brand loyalty other manufacturers would die for... I call them the Dillon Moonies, and I don't...

I remember when that thing was released... I seriously considered getting one. The 'no sale' part was the proprietary dies... I went with the ProJector instead.

    help picking a press

I understand your concern about squibs... but there is just as much chance of 'producing a squib' with a progressive as with any other press. Inspection needs to be part of your reloading process. I run a Hornady ProJector (predecessor to the LNL...) and much of my 'automatic' process is ME...

    IWB Holster Design

Quite true.... and not unlike a pistol grip, or even a trigger. You are correct, OP, that a center clip adds bulk (width) to a IWB holster, but in the same vein adding clips to either end adds bulk (length) to an IWB holster.... which circles me back to what DT says about it being a personal...

That. Rifle... hands down... single-stage or turret. Common pistol cartridges... progressive. Loading 300 .45ACP, for example, every month, every month, every month... on a single-stage/turret... would get real old, real quick. I speak from experience.

all good things come to an end

I'm just taking what the OP asks at face value... nothing more. There are probably threads here or elsewhere that break down something like long term storage. In the spirit of the OP, I would look at something a little more 'close to home.' Maybe just buy a safe (OK, OK... 'RSC...' ) park it...

    Blown primers on win brass

What?!?! NOTHING is over until WE decide it is!!! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?
  19. Charlie98

Alright, what do you all think 1911 decision?

Just an observation... I've owned a fair amount of 1911's... but not one of everything, certainly. Even though a 1911 is a 1911 is a 1911... they really aren't. I've owned a stainless Colt Government, the Springy stainless Government, 2 different Taurus PT1911's, and my 3 Kimbers. I've fired...

    .41 Mag Association

I would agree. At the end of the day, they are just Ruger Blackhawks. I don't know if I was aware that Ruger made a .41 in a Flattop model. I've sworn off Ruger SA's in general, but I always liked the feel and handling of the .44SPC Flattop I had for a bit. Too bad there were so many...
