They didn't have a choice as the production stopped. The Sig 365 was recently approved. The Kahr was a disaster with so many malfunctioning that the factory sent a repair trailer to Cavin Point to make the modifications.
The M58 seems to be more abundant,..
Actually it was their 59 series. The 58 was their41 Mag revolver.
We carriers the 659 starting in 84 and continued up until the 4006 ended production.
The early versions were rough and the triggers not at all smooth out of the box. they got progressively...
no. Budgets aren't fat enough to dump what they have and buy some new and totally untested product. Maybe they want the property???
The only thing that interests me in the slightest are their shotguns. But they cheapened them with the Express line that even that's a stretch. No one is going to...
The second generation guns were prone to have frame rails cracking. We had a bunch of 669's and a few 659's crack. Smith will not repair under warranty any longer.
That is all I use now. It was the only lubricant used at Sig's Academy and still is even through the Lucas sponsorship years. The staff repairing and maintaining their firearms told me it's all they use so it is good enough for me.
That was on the low end. When we finally switched from the 3rd. Gen to the Glock 23 because they terminated production, all the models were in the TSW line. The msrp was well over a thousand per unit. Not any different that the classic Sig line models.
When I purchased the 659 for my department...
The request for shipping itself isn't valid under CA law. Any wonder a FFL isn't going to want to bother or only at a increased fee.
California Penal Code Section 27555 prohibits all Federal Firearms Licensees (FFLs), other than Type 03 or 06 FFLs, from shipping firearms to an FFL in California...
