    6mm creedmore

Only if you want to sling the high BC 6mm bullets. If you're fine with the </=100gr hunting bullets, I wouldn't bother.

    Damaged my scope😡

We've got plenty to spare! Mowing your yard? Don't miss having to do that! I can't fathom trying to maintain a lawn here, I don't know how people do it. Seems sisyphean to me.

    I bought a Pinto that doesn’t run…

They do. The factory Pinto's are very rare. I've never seen one in person, and I've been keeping an eye out for well over a decade.

    7mm prc scope

You might look into the Sig BDX system It's a seperate scope and range finder, but they do work together. Pretty slick system, and there's multiple options for both scopes or range finders depending on the task at hand, and your budget.

    Muzzle crowning.

For the cost it'd take to recrown a bargin bin barrel, you're half way to a good barrel.

    .400 Legend Rifle

Looks like they have five stores total now. I used to go to their original storefront on Cleveland Ave (rough part of town) pretty frequently. Had a membership at their range in Groveport at one time too when it was new. Always liked those stores. Bought alot of guns through them.

    .400 Legend Rifle

Vance's is a name I've not heard in a long time. I bought my first gun there, a police trade in S&W 469 for about $200 a long time ago.

    7mm Creedmoor——-who’s in???

The 7mm-08 is already twisted fast enough for just about any bullet you'd want to cram in a case that size. The 6.5 and 6 creedmoor addressed the twist and overall length concerns with the 260rem and 243Win, respectively. The 7mm-08 dosen't have that issue, or at least not to a large an...

    22lr to 5.56

It depends. Most dedicated 22lr AR's use a 22lr chambered barrel and no gas system. Going from 5.56 to 22lr you can utilize a drop in conversion bolt. Going from 22lr to 5.56 you'd most likely need a barrel, gas block and tube, bolt carrier group and probably a buffer and spring. That's...

Assembled My First Upper: Mistakes and Lessons Learned

I really like the Primary Arms micro prisms, they're not just "good for the money" they're just good. An ACOG is objectively better in a few ways, but the PA micros have a few tricks up their sleeves, like an adjustable eye piece, incredibly lightweight and a very adaptable mounting system.

What new rifles are most exciting to you this year? Or over the past year?

Nicer stock, and 3 position safety are the biggest two functional differences, but the gen 2 gets a fluted barrel as well, which is mostly cosmetic. I could live without the fluted barrel and a lower cost, but the other touches are very intriguing. I could see picking one in 6creed up as a...

    Complete AR15 with 1:8 twist?

I'm not debating you, but I just find it funny your picking out a "match" type SS barrel, to shoot cheap bulk ammo. In my experience, I've never had issues with 55gr in 1:7 that wasn't the ammo's fault (i.e. wouldn't shoot in other rifles with slower twists). Either way, you'll be happy with...

    Complete AR15 with 1:8 twist?

The 1:8's are definitely less prevalent in their line up, but I'd been under the impression they've usually had one or two offerings among all the 1:7's. Those SS410 barrels are under appreciated I think. I've steered a few people towards them and they've always been very happy with them. Most...

They sell complete rifles as well. https://bravocompanymfg.com/bcm-recce16-kmra-p.html Or, he can buy a complete lower, BCG and charging handle separately. That's not exactly "building" that's just un-field stripping at that point. No assembly required.
