I’ve chronoed several loads in 9mm and 40S&W. Most were above listed velocity and the ones that were under, were very close. Their overall quality has been great.
I’ve slowed down on buying guns because the price of ammo, primers and powder. Which is exactly what the antis want. If you can’t afford to feed them you’ll buy less. I’d love a new 10mm and a 327 magnum but I’ll have to wait a bit.
I use lots of Longshot because my local Academys have it in stock regularly. Now it’s my go to powder because it works in multiple calibers and it’s been on the shelves even through some of the plandemic. In 9mm I use 5.5+ grains with 124gr RMR match champions or Nukes. I don’t load 10mm...
Pmag and Lancer only. With these two brands making such high quality mags, I don’t care to test any others. If I wanted to start a business right now, the absolute last two items I would make would be shoes and AR magazines.
If this all turns out true and accurate, there’s no reason to panic or hoard. 7% sucks but it was coming eventually anyway. It’s the kind of thing many people expect.
I haven’t heard about that specific reason but it makes sense that we’d have yet another factor hurting the average consumer. EVERYTHING over the last 4 years has hurt the average consumer. Of course that’s all small beans compared to the looming WWIII that’s ready to explode any minute. Gotta...
Cargo pockets are just too low for me. And the Velcro flap slows things down. As said above, I want my hand on the gun if I pocket carry. If you really want to carry that way, see what you think of Crossbreed and if they can customize the backing...
I would definitely not train with a glove. I would debur, sand, polish, totally reshape the holster top area that your hand contacts on the draw. I’ve been “fixing” holsters for a while. Lots of good quality holsters will have a sharp edge left somewhere that I find during a quick draw. I...
Good read. Another example of how police are not here to protect us, even when they have your house surrounded, the bad guys are basically free to rape and murder. The doctor probably could have saved his family had he been carrying any micro pistol. And of course locking his doors while they...
Obviously this is not an everyday occurrence. From the videos I’ve seen, if you really thought you would have to defend against a big cat, you better open carrying your most familiar carry pistol. One that you regularly practice quick draw and shoot. I would probably choose a G19.
A member here once told me that Enforcer is a forgiving version of H110. (We were talking 44MAG at the time). Supposedly Enforcer can get the same velocity but also can be downloaded more and is more forgiving. Last I checked it was WAY cheaper too. I haven’t looked lately though.
