    Tisas Carry 9mm

147's you say? Try 124-grain ammo. Or even 115 (if you haven't tried 115 yet). You might have a length issue, or a bullet-profile issue with the 147's. Or the additional WEIGHT of the 147 projectile may be causing the magazine to act oddly. What ammo did your friend who ran it 300...

    Revolver Resurgence-?

I am now OFFICIALLY sitting on a LIFETIME SUPPLY of handgun powder. I'm a 1000-2000 rounds per year handgun guy. My latest REVOLVER acquisition is this 45 ACP piece. I was feeling un-whole after I sold-off my other N-Frame guns (which I never shot). At this point, I might be sitting on a...

    Damaged my scope😡

Buddy of mine recently stumbled going the two steps from his kitchen to his garage. Didn't break the gun, but did break his PELVIS! Gravity can be your friend, until it becomes your enemy. Cement floors are hard. His wife was out at the time. So there he was. Lying on the floor of the...

    Tisas Carry 9mm

If you are having mis-feed issues with any 9mm, first thing to do is STOP SHOOTING 115-GRAIN AMMO. Most of the time, simply switching to 124-grain ammo solves the mis-feed problems. After that, try different magazines. After that, try different WEIGHT recoil spring.

    Tisas Carry 9mm

I have the TANK COMMANDER 9mm posted above. I shot ten or so mags through it when it was brand new. I've been distracted with other stuff since. But no extraction problems. Even with crappy Wolf and Remington 115-grain. I also have a 45 ACP TISAS which has about a thousand rounds through it. No...

    Revolver Resurgence-?

Yes. Because everybody already has eleventeen UGLY Glocks. Even the SOUND a Glock makes when dry-firing is unappealing. Dare I say even REVOLTING. The dry-fire sound of a Glock is reminiscent of the noise a cheap ball-point pen makes when the stylus isn't fully locked, and pressure is applied...

    Dehumidifier

It has been non-stop raining in Virginia and North Carolina recently. I found rust on some reloading dies I recently acquired, but have yet to use. Everything gets a CLP enema! I got drowned during an Excellence in Competition (leg match) at Camp Butner last week. The only thing I was...

    .38 Special "Super Police"

Neat bullet. But realistically, any hard-cast 158-grain solid at 850 fps will penetrate the pelvis in-and-out. Unless impact is at an acute angle. Expansion is the enemy of petration. And vice-versa. Bullet SHAPE has a some considerable effect regarding whether the bullet glances off bone...

Cross another one off the list.

My 30-06 7400 was very reliable functioning with Remington CoreLokt factory ammo and my 150-grain handloads. Also a reliably wandering zero as the barrel heated. 4" to 5" wandering at 100 yards from cold barrel to 10-rounds-hot in about a minutes firing time. I traded mine toward a stainless...

    Tisas Carry 9mm

I bet it runs great. My 9mm "TANK COMMANDER" is great. I love "honest wear" on a pistol. But that left-side, top grip screw would be first on my list to un-wank.

    American Reloading

Pulldown Powder at American Reloading I bought two 8-pound jugs. That’s 16 pounds for $420 ($26.25 per pound) Free shipping, no hazmat, no tax. Two powders in stock. These are both BALL powders, and are fairly slow. Very good for 30-06. Probably OK for .308 – but slow - if you are shooting...

    Are 44 Revolvers Dying?

Clint Eastwood was so disgusted with .44 he moved up to the .45 in his later movies.

    Who dislikes/hates the Beretta 92FS/M9?

A little love for the 92S. For the pricee they were asking when they appeared on PSA, I should have bought a HALF-DOZEN! Oh wait,.... I DID!!! :neener:
