Last time I went bear hunting, I hauled around a rifle and a 8 3/8" 44 Mag pistol for the first 4 or 5 days on horseback. Decided that I'd leave the rifle at the lodge and just carried the scoped 44 Mag in a Uncle Mike's Sidekick Vertical Shoulder Holster for the remainder of the hunt. Did not...
Not sure entirely possible but here's the 5 that have been going to the range semi-weekly:
Sig P365
Sig P365 Xmacro
Glock 43x MOS
S&W 986PC
FN 509cc Edge

P365 Xmacro is hard to beat. Similar in size to G43x, 17 round mags. Also have regular P365 that uses 10, 12 or 17 round mags. Neither has skipped a beat, FTF, FTE, nothing with assorted FMJ, HP and lightweight frangible projectiles. Highly recommended.

The FN 509cc Edge piles brass up at my feet. However most of the others...
What sort of mount for the RMS? Just got one with the factory Ruger mount and 30mm rings for old-school tube red dot. I'd like to modernize like you did... TIA.
