Nice. I took my first whitetail ever with my FIL's 760 .30-06. Later owned my own 760 Carbine in .308. I sold it when I got out of .30 cals altogether; it's one of those I sometimes regret parting with.

I can't comment on the Strike Eagle as I have no experience with it. I have a PST Gen II and like it. Even with tax, the Midway sale got me another for just under $650 delivered.

@tommy.duncan, we'll need pics. I did the same a while ago, and the 6.5 Grendel AR quickly became a favorite!

I'm content with the 7mm-08. A 7/6.5 PRC might appeal to some, but I'd jump straight to the 7 PRC.

So was this a required position? Why not go prone? Faster to assume and recover? I'm going to have to work on my stretching ...
