Ants gotta eat too. Find out from local food banks if they take donations for meat. You will have a problem if you are going to start charging a ton of money to hunt them vs allowing friends or neighbors hunt in your property to try to eradicate them. If you invite people over I strongly...
There will be a lot of variables that will determine the ring height but mainly will be the size of the objective and if it has a front sight that you may want to remove or leave in place. I was taught that the best way to determine if you have the proper ring height for your face was to close...
My sincere apologies for lacking the skills to make you comprehend . Hopefully someone here on this forum, more skillful than I am in communications can provide an assist.
Because the case on the 38 is much shorter, when the 38 is ignited the bullet itself has a longer jump to the cone vs the .357 which the case length places the bullet very close to the cone. Many find it the length of the case to be miminal where the .357 is 33mm and the 38 is 29 point...
Without knowing much of what you loaded , there is not much comparison between a 110 gr bullet shot at 50 traveling over 3000 fps and a 220 grain bullet traveling around 2400fps shot at 100 yards. I don't know if you have a scope and all is guessing, but at 100 yards if you have a scope it...
You can't go wrong with either powder. In my lifetime of hunting with a 30=06 my rifles never like high velocities. Groups would open up beyond 2700 fps with 165 grainers. If you have that issue just slow them down. Either powder you mentioned will do. Let the rifle decide for you.
The one thing I hate about 10/22 is that I can easily drop another $1000 reconfiguring it. They are a ton of fun though. With all the money I've spent on some of them I could easily have bought a Vudoo.
I believe the 9mm should remain in a semi-auto where the magazines provided will allow you to carry more ammo in one magazine than 2 moon clips can provide, but everyone is entitled to buy what brings them pleasure. I carry a .357 686+ and use full loads. The beauty of the .357 is that you...
So I was wondering when it comes to the 30-30, does the microgroove rifling reduce accuracy? If shooting cast do you have to increase velocity to keep barrel from leading or no difference at all?
The days of inexpensive primers and powders have gone the way of the DODO bird. Buy now, and 10 years from now you will recall how cheap the primers were when you were younger.
Wow! Blazer did real good. Interestingly, I believe that Blazer is the only brand I have not shot in my 22's. Need to order a case. Anyway if any of my rifles don't like it I can use it on my 617 to practice DA with it.
You could cut a pool noodle to the desired thickness. Personally, I prefer using a squeeze bag where you squeeze the bag slightly to change the elevation of your rifle.
Depending on firearm either a 6 or 12 o'clock. Shot groups define the option for me. Reason I prefer this over center hold is that for me it is a point of aim that I can consistently reproduce over a center hold where I could be a little off and not know it.
I must say I disliked the M9 when they were first issued to my company. I hated giving up my 1911 and to make matters worse I could not hit my target the first time I was trying to qualify. Turned out I had to aim at the bottom corner left of the target to hit the X ring. Sights were off...
