As you already know, misdemeanors can play into this as well.
"21. j. Have you ever been convicted in any court of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence, or are you or have you ever been a member of
the military and been convicted of a crime that included, as an element, the use of force...
Thanks for that link. I’ve been on the edge of buying one of those for a week or so. But something else keeps popping up that requires my time and money.
Same experience here, which is why I’d prefer the heel release of the Rohrbaugh.
So, in the case of my RM380, I’ve taken a dremel to the mag release to reduce how far it stands out on both sides of the gun.
Any tool could be used in battle. But any tool being used in battle doesn't change the definition of what that tool is.

Speaking of tools used in battle . . ...
I have a RM380 that I’ve had for years. It’s the softest shooting pocket .380 I’ve ever fired.
I currently carry a same size Ruger LCP Max due to capacity and ability to install XS big dot sights. But the Max is a handsmacker to shoot by comparison, and no more accurate.
As an up close and...
Compared to 9x19, all centerfire seems pricey. Costs mo' money to go up or down from 9x19.
But if someone needs a lower recoiling cartridge, you could consider the price difference as a health care cost to prolong the use of one's hands. 😬
Right. Yet, 15 rounds in the gun versus 6 might have been a bit of an equalizer.
But that's all playing alternative reality like if the Nazis won WWII.
This new PPK in .32 sure seems like a cool nostalgia shooter. Definitely cheaper than getting a very good condition old school .32 ACP PPK.
Soooo . . . why would Walther bring this back out? Will the next Bond film feature it? If so, I'd like to see a "retro" Bond film, set back in the day if...
When I go to DFW from Houston and back, the route I take totally depends on which side of the Metroplex I'm at, traffic, and the weather. I take a variety of paths that may or may not include I-45, 287, 360, 290, 6, I-35E, I-35W, etc.
For San Antone north bound to FW, I’ll consider 281 vs I-35...
I too aim to get the optic as low as physically possible on a traditional long gun. With a new to me gun, this usually means trying at least two different height scope rings.
Or maybe you can seek and find info in forums (or elsewhere) where someone has the same gun and scope combo you want and...
Being that I’m a G36 owner may say something about me.
Sure, Glocks are ubiquitous, but G36s are a red headed step child by comparison. And I still really like my G36. What a sweet size and weight for a .45 ACP pistola.
The closest I’ve done to that is install XS Big Dot fronts with shallow V rears on a pair of auto loaders. Helps me immensely, but certainly they are non-precision sights.
Nice gun you have there, @Dave Markowitz . Congrats.
I have some time with my ol' shootin' buddy's PS90. I really like just about everything about the PS90. The only thing that kept me from getting one of my own was that I never had the guts to jump off into the 5.7 cartridge.
Same here in regards to slide mounted safeties. That type of safety helped drive me away from all safety levers on all handguns I’ve purchased with the intent of self defense.
I do have handguns with safety levers, but only for recreational purposes.
