When my old lot runs out, may change brands. The quality has been poor at times, in their other primers. I have been using an old lot of WLP for many years in 45acp & 44 mag., no problems.

I have Starline, large rifle primer brass. IMR 4350, BR2 primers. Barnes Match burners in 120 & 140 grs. Some Nosler 120 gr. Hornady factory ammo had the worse brass i have seen in a long time.

The (#) pounds to move the bullet were recorded using a bath room scale. Made a wood lever to slowly apply pressure to the bullet nose. The highest pounds will be right before the bullet starts moving into the case.

When a loaded round is sized, spring back of a lead bullet & the brass is at different rates.
Brass springs back more. May leave a bullet loose in the case.
Measure outside diameter of sized brass, before & after seating a bullet. The OD needs to get larger by a minimum of .002" after seating.
Maybe try a Lee Undersized Carbide sizing die?

Lets start here first-
Check current fl die for over working the necks. Measure OD of loaded rounds. Remove expander, size 3 brass. More then .004" smaller or more? Buy a fl bushing die like Redding type S.
