Looking to buy my 1st O/U 12ga. I am wanting a bbl length of 28in and an inexpensive one at that. Plan to shoot trap twice a month with it.

I have a 6 and 1/2-in 624. Never tried his shoulder holes for it though. But they're one terrific gun.

I wear a baggie shirts. Usually a size larger but again moving around with that big grip on these guns is fairly identifiable if you're looking for it or if you happen to see it. I get people are blind today to stuff like that unless your gun nuts always being aware of your surroundings.

I've carried my model 29-2 and my model 624 occasionally. Both 4in bbls. I run into the problem that it's hard to not have them print. Carrying them isn't a huge ordeal for me. You definitely can feel the weight after full day though.
Never shot this brand. Is the Underwood ammo as good as most say? Are there published velocities accurate?

My 1984 no dash 686 is a comforting weapon when carrying it. This and my S&W 29-2 4in are the perfect protection guns. Hard to compete or beat the older S&W revolvers
