You dont need the slide. You simply need a 40 S&W Chambered Glock pistol, and a 357 barrel. You can buy the barrel direct through Glock(I have two) or buy an aftermarket barrel. The 40S&W barrel, and 357Sig barrel have the same OD, and fit the slides perfectly. I have a pair of G27s converted to...
OK...I'll be the first. The Kel-Tec P32 is an excellent little pistol. It could arguably be Kel-Tecs best product. I have had a Gen2 P32 for a few years now, and while it isn't my EDC, it does serve a function nothing else can. Its my Walmart gun in the summer, when I dress light, in a T shirt...
One of those projects I'm still working on, an AR rotisserie. Each gun locks on to a UHMW dummy magazine blank. Might be an idea you can build off of.
Thats really cool. Thanks
Wooden dowel down the barrel.
Wood attracts moisture; a Delrin rod or similar does a better job
I think the above is my solution. Its simple, and will work. The Rifle Rod idea is also a good solution. Thanks guys.
I have three AR pistols, two with Shockwave brace, one with a simple pistol tube. They are too short to reach the long gun notches, and too large to store with the handguns. I suppose I could make a shelf/box/something to raise them up so they could reach the long gun notches. What intelligent...
I have a Kel-Tec P32, and a Kahr CM9. The P32 is pleasant to shoot, and very accurate, but 32acp doesn't make me feel very protected. My CM9 is a tad larger, carries seven rounds of 9mm, but is painful to shoot. Both are great, tiny pistols
All this talk of Pistol Caliber Carbines... but no mention of the pistols they pair to...
How about a few pictures of the carbines, AND the pistols
Lets see them guys...
Here is my Sub2000 and M&P 2.0, my Just Right Carbine and Glock 19X, and my CMMG MK9 carbine, and MK9 pistol
I didn't know people actually still load mags by hand. I dont. I have just about every UpLula they make. Try loading the 32 round Colt SMG mags without one. Good Luck
The CM45 has been my Every Day Carry for 3 years now. Its a great little pistol. I had one stoppage around round 50 or so during the recommended break in. I have never had a failure since in over 900 rounds. Reports are they can be finicky with anything but a round nosed type bullet, so I carry...
I like Buds, and Keely Arms. Both offer free shipping. Buds has my local dealer on file, and many others that are local to me, so its "One Click, and Done"
...are superb, but pricey. I wanted a cheaper single stage, so I did some research. I found many recommendations for a combo of the Spike's Tactical *Nickel Boron* Battle Trigger Set, JP Enterprises Reduced Power springs, and a Trigger Adjuster grip screw. I tried that combo, and I wont ever buy...
I have found that 124 gr ammo gives stronger felt recoil than 115 gr. The original 9mm weight was 124 gr, and in my experience 124 runs very well in my PCCs
I have a Hardened Arms 20" upper, on a Ruger Elite lower. A Mueller 8x25-44AO sits in an Aero mount. Its very accurate. I need to stretch out the distance and see what it can do.
To add... it is the magwell/lower that determines what mag you use. The 9mm AR bolts being built today are hybrid, meaning they work with either style magazine. Make sure you get a hybrid bolt, or that your bolt matches the magazine style. All new bolts are also ramped in the rear at the bottom...
Colt developed, and released an AR style 9mm carbine in the 1980s They used a straight steel 32 round magazine. The design was successful, and Colt makes a run of these occasionally.
A more recent development was a similar carbine in 9mm that uses a Glock pistol magazine. This appears like an...
