The main reason I want a 28 gauge is the small frame size and being light weight. I shot a yildz at the range in 28 gauge and it was a blast to shoot. It didn't fit me perfect but, still fun.
I have a 20 gauge A5 and several 12's... But I really like the small frame that some people use on the...
i'm going to go to my local gun store and try the beretta and browning to see what fits best. I'll keep that as an option, maybe even do layaway....
On another note does anyone know how the cz fits compared to them? Nobody around me carries them and I'm kinda curious if they fit like the...
I am dead set on an o/u. I have semi auto's and I have never cared for pumps... Just can't get used to using one.. not even for home defense...
It will be used for mostly skeet and maybe possibly dove hunting.... I don't go skeet shooting very often anymore because the closest place is over an...
So I have decided to get a 28ga. I have a couple baikal 12's, but I've been having bad shoulder problems and would like to get a 28ga that is lighter, slightly less recoil, and easier on my shoulder.
I've been looking for a used beretta or browning, but haven't really found one in my price...
i have 2 of the remington spartan 12ga. I love them. 1 has only been shot a couple times, and is like new. The other gets used quite a bit and is rather banged up, but has never failed on me. I wish I had a 20 gauge to go along with them lol. Actually I would like several more of them, including...
From what I understand it is not blowback operated and it is a fixed barrel. Both of those are better for adding a suppressor.
But i have been wrong before, and that's why i'm asking for any advice on this. I'm very new to suppressors and i've never shot one of these 1911-380's..
thanks everyone
Has anyone seen one? I'm really wanting to buy the browning 1911-380 if it would be a good candidate for a suppressor. I think it would be perfect for a small B tube form 1 suppressor.
Any advice on these or if anyone has seen one speak up.
Thanks everyone
how long does it normally take to get a response from hodgdon? it's been 5 or 6 days since i emailed them.
Does anyone have quickload and could run imr7977 and 264 win mag with 140 grain bullets?
Update
After taking it to a gunsmith. He determined that the barrel was ok. I sent scope back to Nikon and it was replaced free of charge. Go to love that customer service.
I haven't shot it yet but I will report back when I do.
I have one. It is my favorite shotgun that I have. I bought it for 300 a couple months ago. It looked unfired. Cabelas had them used for 550 a while back. If i could find another for 300 i would buy it and as many that I can find at that price!
I didn't check the screws holding the stock on. good idea. I will check that when I get home. I am going out of town on a work trip so I will report back on what I find when I get home.
I believe it is glass bedded. I did slide a dollar bill between the stock and barrel to check that while I...
I am no expert, but I have about 10 different sets of dies I use. I have rcbs, c4hd, lee, and hornady. I prefer the lee dies to any of them. The rcbs dies seem to rust the easiest too. I don't like the way the c4hd dies crimp.
So last week i went shooting and shot about 60-70 reloads through my 30-06. I had been working up several loads using imr 4064 and superformance. I had 2 loads that grouped extremely well. 1 was .612 and the other was .640. Afterwards i drove around the lease and i accidentally hit my rifle...
What i do is mske a dummy round. I keep seating it a couple thousandths deeper until it passes the plunk test. Then i set mine .015 off the lands. I then work my loads up until i find the powder, bullet, primer combo i like. Then i try moving coal .005 from .10 to .025 off the lands to see what...
