Yeah! They only made about 5000 per year. My LGS had this one for $720. Mine has carry wear, just ahead of the receiver. The blueing is good. It passes all of the tests for a Model 12.
It points like magic. I shoot sporting clays with it about as well as I do with a 12 gauge!

Felt recoil is a product of gun weight, velocity, and shot weight, plus a little wiggle for fit. Here is a link to a recoil calculator:

Just outside Chicago. I paid $200 for red letter 12 gauge about 4 years ago. I held a pigtail model where they were asking $300. There is a 16 gauge in a local gun shop right now for $250. I have seen 410’s in the $300 range and held a 20 gauge, modified choke this past summer worn almost white...
Elsewhere, these get very poor reviews. Like if you shoot less than a box per year, you might be okay. Those reviews cite a regular litany of objections.
