What is the last gun that you bought?

A Marlin model 60 followed me home yesterday . I cleaned it up adjusted the ejector spring while I had it apart I've had a H&R 45-70 since the Handi-rifle came out. 300 grain Seira HP pushed by a stiff load of IMR-3031 absolutely hammers deer

Crossman .177 cal pellets do not fit my gun?

I have no idea about crosman super points . Crosman premier domed or hollow point fit my Diana 34 fine .I have a Hatsan that won't take H&N cromagnum pellets but take the crosman premier domed just fine. Since it took other pellets I would guess those pellets are just a little oversized

Need to stay away from the used rack

Stopped by the LGS. Looking at the used rack and had a Marlin model 60 follow me home. I took it apart and cleaned the sludge out of it. I doubt I had ever been cleaned. I adjusted the ejector spring . Took it to the club and it runs great

    What did you shoot today?

I hobbled out to the range today and shot my Ruger Wrangler and my Savage rascal . I'm just getting to the point I can put weight on my foot (surgery April 1st) I needed to get out so I kept it light. If you get past the "it's a kids rifle" the Rascal is fun to shoot very accurate for a cheap...

    More Ruger Wrangler

Thanks for the tip I did the back sight like this with a sharpie. I've had the front sight painted white and it helps seeing the sights a bunch. I think I am going to try another color for the front sight. When I can see the sights the little gun shoots point of aim

Taurus Police Trade-Ins: If anyone is interested.

For as much as I hate Taurus automatic pistols. I like their revolvers . I carried a model 94 22LR woods bummin' for many years. Shot a buddy's 38 snubby a lot . The only reason I have not picked up a Taurus 38 special is that I am trying not to add different calibers to what I have

    .400 Legend Rifle

If I still deer hunted much it would be interesting. Main reason I even noticed it is, Vance Outdoors had a lefty Savage in stock last time I was in. Actually in a modern gun with good hand loads 45-70 will kill anything in North America. I've taken deer out to 225 yards with mine

Rarer gauges are going for stupid money with some 10 ga and 410 kits going above $200 that is getting close to buying a MEC loader. I have them in everything from 410 to 10 gauge
