Why no hydraulic-powered progressive presses?

I have so little powder right now, a hydraulic press would be about 5 minutes reloading time.

    What's your "never buy" gun?

Never buy a Hi-Point. I should start a "never sell" thread, LOL! NEVER sell a Stevens 22/410 over and under, especially one from the 60's!

Is it possible to shoot rust out of a bore?

I wouldn't do it. The rust needs to be removed. Take it to a gunsmith if you don't know how to get the rust out. Is it badly rusted? Brake fluid and a bronze brush may work on removing the rust. If it's badly rusted, there will be pits in the barrel no matter what.

    Light for 550 Press

I like that! The other lamps are cheaper, but I have limited space on the bench. Makes me wish I'd thought of it.

#10 caps fall off cones Pietta 1860

RWS 1075 seems to work best in a Uberti. You may also consider getting Ampco nipples expressly for a Uberti. Sometimes the stock nipples aren't too good. Check the Possibles Shop. http://www.possibleshop.com/s-s-nipples.html

Just don't sprinkle them on your spaghetti!

    40 cal autos

I shot one a few times, and while it's OK, it's a PITA to field strip. The grip is also wide, so one needs to have have big hands for them to be comfortable. They are also a bit bulky for concealed carry.

    40 cal autos

For functionality and price, go with a Glock23. For the best, go with a Sig P226 or HK P30LS

    10 gun ccw permit

Which is the way it should be. I moved back to Arkansas from Tennessee, and time warped in to the past century.

    10 gun ccw permit

In my opinion, it's none of the government's business what gun I own, or choose to carry. To tell them what you carry, is a form of registration.

    A-MERC brass

I've been out of the reloading scene for around 10 years. I started reloading again this year, and was having many rejects. I thought I was having problems with my Dillon carbide dies. I took them out of the press, and cleaned them thinking that was the problem. After reading many posts on...

Sorry it's not in focus. It has 7.62 Russian printed inside the band. I measured it to be 28.8 mm long. The inside measurement is tapered from 12.3 mm to 11.7 mm on the small end. [/IMG]
