You are using the old Black Responsive theme. We have installed a new dark theme for you, called UI.X. This will work better with the new upgrade of our software. You can select it at the bottom of any page.
If you remove the magazine disconnect standard magazines may drop out freely. I'd try that first unless you don't like the idea of removing this "feature".
bannockburn here's a comparison of a MARK II with the blue Pac-Lite upgrade and the 22/45 LITE. The second picture has the LITE with the Pac-Lite compensator since it does screw on the LITE threads.
Yeah I like the blue Pac-Lite, too. But the red isn't bad either. I also like that the barrels are threaded, mstreddy.
That TacSol 22 conversion for the 1911 looks good, bannockburn. Since you have a 1911 you might like the 22/45 LITE since it has a grip more like a 1911 instead of a Luger or...
I ordered a couple Tactical Solutions Pac-Lite upper receivers last August and they FINALLY came in a few days ago. A piece of cake to install and they sure are lightweight. And purdy! The red one went on my 1975 Mark I 6-7/8" tapered barrel and the blue one on my 1985 Mark II Target 5.5" bull...
Boy, you can say that again! I only have one AK, a WASR bought in 2007 for about $250. They've since gone way up while entry level ARs have gone way up in quality and down in price.
The Mark IV Hunter truly is beautiful and I was so tempted but finally ordered the blue Mark IV Target since it has the same great new features and is about 9 oz lighter. Looking forward to getting it in a week or so.
But boy ... that Mark IV Hunter is beautiful!!!!
I'm cross dominant, right handed and left-eyed. But I learned to shoot long guns right handed decades ago with no problem so don't expect to change. Shooting a pistol though, I bring the sights over to my left eye, again with no problem. I just had cataract surgery Tuesday on the right, non...
Buy the best that you can afford at the time. Later, if you can afford better and can justify it, why not buy it. The cheaper gun can be passed down to a family member or friend. Or given to a good kid, of course with the parents blessing. Then all of you go to the range for training.
We need...
There are many good choices, fortunately. I'm sure you know this but someone else reading may not know the Model 19 comes with a square grip and rounded grip like yours. So it's important to order the right grips. My 6" 19 uses the square type while my wife's 2.5" Model 66 is rounded. The 66 and...
I noticed that, too. Embarrassing, honestly - and must be fixed now.
Otherwise, the trailer is slick, the video is great, actors look interesting so the show might be great.
I've never seen a 16" midlength with a M203 cutout, either. Instead of the M4 look you get the M16 look but on a carbine!
You are correct that the bayonet fits a 16" midlength.
Does the Ruger still come with an unshrouded bolt carrier? Earlier AR-556 and SR-556 models did while even budget ARs have moved on to shrouding the firing pin. To me unshrouded is a dealbreaker.
Ron, the original 7-round magazine that came with my new Colt Government Model Series '70 bought in 1976 looks like the one on the far left of your second picture. I expect Gold Cups and GMs came with the same magazine. The finish of the pistol and magazine is blue.
Colt 45 Auto was stamped...
Like Tirod, I think Eugene Stoner should be in this poll. Still, that wouldn't have affected my vote for John M. Browning.
It's tempting to place Georg Luger in the top 5 since besides his groundbreaking Luger he introduced the 9mm Luger cartridge about 110 years ago which has become the most...
Coal Dragger brought up good points, unfortunately AIM may not provide the answers. Still, most entry level ARs fall short of an $800-1000.
The AIM kit does give you a $600 AR (after you add a stripped lower and PMAG) with a KeyMod floating rail. That's a pretty good deal. I doubt the barrel is...
