I reduced the COAL to 1.40 and, using the Glock 43X barrel, each round would plunk then fall out when the barrel was turned upside down. Only 50% of those would spin without catching on a land. When I reduced the COAL to 1.35, all would plunk, spin, and fall out.
The difference between 147gr...
It is .386 which, oddly enough, is the same diameter with several of the rounds I have, from the old MBC bullet, and they plunk, spin, and fall out without problem.
Another piece of information. The barrel I'm using is a brand-new Glock 43-X, 9mm with less than 50 rounds through it. The...
The COAL is the same with old and new, which is 1.157. The round in red I decided to seat deeper and it has a COAL of 1.150. The barrel of the Glock is clean.
The only marks I can see are maybe on the case edge or rim itself.
I've been using MBC 9mm, 147gr, bullet for years and check each round with both a case gauge and the pistol barrel. No problems. I just got a new batch of 147gr bullets from MBC and have reloaded 5 rounds. Each one pass the case gauge test but not the barrel test. I'm trying to figure out why...
I remember looking at Milt Sparks when I was looking for an OWB holster. A work of art but their wait is now between 18 and 24 weeks.
TT Gun Leather does very nice work and I have purchased from them before. Their thinnest is the Slim XC. Is this still an overkill for a G43X...
Great advice from everyone. Thank you.
Seeing that an IWB holster will be worn next to the body, is a leather holster more comfortable than a kydex one?
I just got a Glock 43X and looking for an IWB holster. Never having had one before, I don't know what features to look for and the comfort level of different styles. Two that I have considered are the Simply Rugged Cumberland (or DEFCON 3) and the Crossbreed Supertuck...
Fire protection is not a worry for me nor is the threat from a determined or professional thief. If they want to get at what's inside, they're going to get it.
Given my limited space issue, I think it will provide reasonable protection from the smash-and-grab thief which is my main concern.
I've got limited space and looking to get a safe that I can pigeon-hole into a closet. The heavy and unwieldy gun safes won't work for me. I'm looking specifically at the Agile 52 which I'll secure to the wall.
Has anyone had good or bad experiences with the Ultralight series of gun cabinets...
I have a Glock 40 MOS and already have a kydex holster for it. Occasionally, I'll add a Crimson Trace green laser to the bottom rail.
I can't find any holster that can accommodate the G40 with the laser on the bottom. I suspect a rail-mounted light would also create the same issue.
Does...
I've had my Coax for while and am considering getting curved linkages which would provide more access. Inline Fabrication makes one but has a stopper in the center which I think defeats the purposes of the curved linkages...
I am setup now with a kydex holster for my G40. On occasion, I will run it with a Crimson Trace rail-mounted laser and my existing holster won't accommodate that.
I have to crossdraw as I have a rotator cuff issue and can't draw from the strong side. Any suggestions for a holster?
