Don't lose faith
223 AR,
I just noticed this thread for the first time. Don't lose faith. My 43 year old son Brian, is going through his 4th brain tumor operation tomorrow morning at 9:30. I know how difficult this is, but God knows what's best for us. Your son is a gift from God, and he...
prayers
Thank you Sir. I also want to thank the rest of the High Road family for their continued prayers. It means more than words could ever express.
Respectfully,

to the High Road family
I want to thank you all, for your continued kind words, and prayers for my Son Brian. Everything is still about the same. He is scheduled for surgery on Tuesday. I haven't been to the hospital for a couple of days, as I have come down with a nasty flu virus, that has hit...
Prayers for Brian
Fellow THR members.
I would like to humbly thank you all for your prayers, and well wishes, for my Son Brian. I especially would like to thank my "brother" Ala Dan, for being there with our family through this difficult time. He, and his family, are the greatest people one...
Kimber Custom
Ben M,
First off, welcome to the forum. A lot of nice people, and a ton of experiene can be learned from the shooters here. Now, I own a few .45's, all full sized, and I can say without the slightest hesitation, the pre II series Kimbers, have been the finest of all the .45's I...
Savage
Streamer 71
You also mentioned a Colt Police positive. I also own one of them, and you're correct when you say, it's a nice firearm. Mine is a factory nickle plated .38, and it shoots as well as any revolver I own. I never could understand why they don't have much collector value...
Savage 1907
I have a Savage 1907, and occasionally shoot it at the indoor range. It shoots very well, using Sellier & Bellot ammo. It's a very accurate firearm out to 50'. After that, it looses it's accuracy somewhat. For a 100 year old pistol, I'd say that was pretty danged good.;) Never had a...
I have been using S&B in every caliber from .25, thru .45, and never had any problems at all. It has gone up in price recently, but still good ammo. I also use it in my M-1 carbine with no problems. Overall, I would have to say it's as good as anything out there.

Norinco reliability
I have a Norinco, that I converted to .9mm by changing the slide, barrel, & ejector, from an old Springfield that I purchased at a local show for $115.00. It came as a package deal with two mags. I have to tell ya, it's the most accurate, & reliable .9mm that I own. I have...
mags
Try Cdnn investments, or Natchez shooters supplies. They both usually have a good assortment of mags, as well as other products for the shooter.;)
happy birthday
To all fellow Marines. May God bless each, and every one of you, both past, and present. ''Happy birthday''.

I would do as ZeSpecrte suggested. Change the recoil spring, and make sure the rollers are not out of round. I have five CZ-52's, and haven't had any issues with them. I use nothing but S&B new production ammo in mine. I just don't trust old surplus ammo for the CZ. It's worth the extra money...
C&R renewal
sel366,
Give it more time. Sometimes the A.T.F. gets back logged, and it takes time to process your paperwork. My renewal took well over two months from the time they processed my check. If you call them, all they'll tell you is the paperwork is being processed, and you will get...
Dan,
You already know how badly my family feels about this tragedy. We pray that his family finds peace during this time of sadness. Our prayers go out for him, and his family.

I have a Norinco .45 that I converted to .9mm simply by installing a Springfield top end on, and it shoots better than I can. I picked the .9mm set up at a local gun show. It included the barrel, ejector, slide with bushing, and two mags. All I had to do, was change the ejector, and everything...
Hi All,
Has anyone experienced any problems with CCI Blazer Brass .45 ammo? I recently bought a few cases of the ammo in .45 cal, and have had some issues with it chambering in all of my .45's. I also found 3 rounds out of 150 that had the FMJ bullet, seated much deeper in the brass case...
Thanks for the feedback Walt. It's always good to talk to someone, who has had first hand experience with a weapon, wether good, or bad. I'm glad yours has been good.:) BTW, you're in the ball park, price wise. They aren't giving them away, are they,?:D
