Identity and Date of Manufacture of S&W Revolvers

I really appreciate it. This is the second 32 I have but the first 38. The 32 shows it’s age, but the 38 looks like it’s never been fired. If someone refinished it, they did a phenomenal job. Very little wear on the grips as well. Any idea when Smith dropped putting “ctg” on the caliber...

    Unique Model 17

Im attempting bring a Unique Model 17 back from the deal. All I lack is the safety and asociated hardware. Anyone know where those parts might be found? I have struck out in all the usual gun parts suppliers. Wondering if there might be a part from a similar pistol I could substitute also...

    Winchester Model 94 Butt Plate?

You’re right about that. I think I ended up paying $70. Now I just need the front sight cover and finish filling in a hole in the stock where someone put a sling mount and she’s back to factory looking. I still haven’t shot it yet but have 50 rounds I’ve loaded up.

    Winchester Model 94 Butt Plate?

I just bought a ‘52 built Model 94 in 32Win that does not have a butt plate. The screw holes are about 2 3/4 apart, much narrower than what I’m seeing for sale out there. Anyone have any insight? Did it originally have a steel or plastic plate? Thanks.

    Bought a Kimber Micro 9

I bought one for my wife. So far I’m replacing the slide lock and hope that cures the slide locking back mid-mag. I’m unimpressed with the reliability thus far.

Sig P238 Crimson Trace on a Kimber Micro

I just bought my wife a Kimber Micro 380, and the salesman at the gun shop swore up and down a trigger guard Crimson Trace sight for the P238 would fit on the Kimber. Best I can tell the dimensions are off a bit as the trigger guard seems wider than the Sig. She picked out some grips that she...

Winchester model 100 yay or nay

You've already read about the recall. My uncle has one in 243 that has taken many whitetail. Great rifle with classy looks. Much better than the Remington semi-autos of similar vintage. I'd love to find one sometime.

    Savage Model 29A

When I was a little boy I saw a pump action 22 in my grandfather's gun closet. He told me it fired without touching the trigger. At 98 years old he passed away this week. After the visitation my uncle handed me the rifle, a Savage 29a with the same warning and story of what happened. He...

    New to Shotgun Reloading

Is the universal charge bar more accurate?

Any new reloading tools that are helpful/useful?

That Lee trimmer has been out for a while. They also have a drill attachment that works well. I use it when I have large amounts of brass to process.
