Works fine in my semis

My favorite Lightweight Set Up for general purpose, classes, local matches is a 14.5" Mid Gas Barrel paired with a Battlecomp 1.5 and Vltor A5 Receiver Extension. Properly done you get a rifle that weighs in under 6.4lbs that shoots like a .22lr with no muzzle rise.

Couldn't see owning it unless its full auto with a can. Here's a shot if me having some fun at a CQB class. Count the brass in the air!

You're assuming the OP is gonna take long distance shots at game because he shot groups at 100yds. He never said it was for taking 100yd+ shots. I know a lot of people who take deer with 357mag but they know the limitations if the round and work within those limitations.

I've never found an M&P that sighted in to use a 6 o'clock hold. They're Combat Sighted like #3 which is POA/POI. Google it to see for yourself. Shoot with #2 and you will continue to be low.

Heay Buffer and Spring pretty much eliminate the gas issue and port noise making for a quieter rifle. The other added benefit is that the combo also softens recoil.

If you are concerned about OAL, go with a 5" TROS 3 lug barrel, ramped bolt, and a heavy buffer like the Slash 9Q with Wolff Xtra power spring to really make it quiet and get rid of any gas blowback issues. Mine was built on a RRA upper and ran like a sewing machine! Sent from my DROIDX...
