Has anybody had any experience with the high cap. mags from Eagle? I need to purchase a couple and while I'm not a cheapskate, 9$ as opposed to $25 for others makes me wonder if ther're any good.
Thanks Fellas, You've relieved my concern. I don't plan on goin' to war ( unless its nec. ) with it, but I do plan on shooting it plenty. Part of the "stash" if you know what I mean. Again, Thanks
To all you knowledgeable SKS guys: Have you ever heard of the SKS model that accepts AK mags as being dangerous? A fella told me that the barrels are "pinned" to the reciever with a very weak pin unlike military SK's. Thus making them weak and dangerous. Is this true and if so can that be...
Haven't you ever seen those clocks and books that hold hidden handguns? Also there is out there one that holds riot-type shotguns. Place them in easy reach and do it when no one is around and don't tell your mis-guided in-laws.
OK fellas, ya'll helped me immensely findin' a good load for my .41's. Now I have another question. Now I'm in the process of workin' on getting a CCW. My .41's are bigger than i want to carry comfortably. A Blackhawk and Mod. 58 M&P. Does anyone or has anyone made a .41 in a compact version...
Count me in! Lookin' for reloading info
I have 2 .41's. What I'm lookin' for is some guidance in loadin' with a Keith style 210 gr. bullet in my Smith mod. 57 for defense. Really don't what to have to experiment with alot of different loads. Don't have the time or facilities. Lookin' for some...
Thanks Mike, I'll try that. to others, all my steel mags work perfectly- My weapon is a SKS carbine that works with AK mags, switched out to the Tapco stock. Thanks everyone for your comments.
Just purchased 3 Tapco mags. Can't get them to lock in. Threw away sales recp.(dummy!) Anybody else have a problem like this. i like the mags, sturdy, strong springs. Would like to get them to work.
Another little trick to go along with the dsec. bags is a hershey bar size piece of drywall wrapped with a paper towel in your ammo cans. Absorbs moisture.
Has anybody used Tula primers? Natchez supply has a good deal on them and I was thinking about buying their large magnum pistol primers. I know in most cases you get what you pay for, just wondering...?
Thanks, I look again to make sure I'm correct in what I'm asking. At first look it looked like they were attached to the grip thats why I stopped. I didn't want to go somewhere without knowing for sure what I was doing. Thanks for the info, I will look again.
Ergo grips
Howdy, I purchased 2 ergo grips for my Bushmaster and DPMS. I replaced the one on my Bushmaster but when I started on the DPMS I saw the 2 springs for the safety attached to the factory grip and stopped. Am I right in assuming that the Ergo won't work on the DPMS? Thanks in advance...
need some mod.97/clone help
Howdy, I have a TNN that i purchased used. It doesn't lock when the action is closed. I was told by someone here that cowboy action shooters sometimes have a gunsmith disengage the lock/release button on the side to allow them to shoot faster in comp. This fella told...
Thanks bobo, I had an orgin. '97 riot gun and traded it and $50 for my first Rott puppy. Never regret that, he was a great dog. But I've missed that '97 ever since. I bought the repo because I didn't want to put out the money for another orgin. '97 riot gun.
I have a TTN mod. '97. I had an orig. '97 (traded it ) My question is this. The slide locked when forward and then with slight forward pressure it unlocked on my origin. My replica doesn't do this. The action stays unlocked. Does anybody know if this is proper? It is a well made replica and I...
