I guess I have 23 different calcalibers.
This gun will be used to hunt WV, so both calibers would be legal. Right now I am leaning towards the 450 bushmaster. 1) It fires the cheaper pistol bullets for plinking. 2) If I would ever decide to start hunting in Ohio I would have a gun. Thanks for all the replies.

Would like to get a 45-70 lever gun.
My son bought a 243 a little over a year ago. We bought some factory for it so that we have the brass. Before that, 4 or 5 years ago a guy at the gun club had a box of 38's and a box of 357's. The price was less than I could reload them for, so I bought them.
I have some 38 special that took a shot shell primer. I never shot them more than 50 feet. I do not think that they would be effective much past that. I only used them indoors for target practice.
The NRA definition is: A squib load occurs when cartridge develops less than normal pressure or velocity after ignition. It can cause a bullet to lodge in the barrel. It can still be a squib load and clear the barrel.
