I would just like to point out that a 16" M4 style barrel weighs 2.2 lbs, vs 1.9 lbs for a "superlight" pencil barrel.
To keep that in perspective, a 14.5" M4 barrel with a permanently attached FH weighs 2 lbs
Also, you will notice greater group dispersion in moderately higher rate of fire...
Screw that.
If they go to Washington with guns, there will be shooting. That will happen whether their guns are loaded or not.
Might as well carry the ammo too.

It takes absolutely no balls to march with an NRA card.
We need something firm and impressive. Something awe-inducing. 500,000 people with arms in their hands would leave an impression. I think agent's provacatuer would be a problem, but one that is manageable. You'd need to have the...
Yeah. Why not? It clearly demonstrates:
A) Solidarity
B) Non-violent civil disobediance
C) Guts
It beats the pants off of "hiding in the closet" until you get old and die or your estranged Ex-Wife turns you into the Po-Po. There are 80 million + gun owners in this country. That's one...
A few hundred thousand New York gun owners marching with their AR's on Albany would end this in a day. Each one drops a bullet on the governers lawn. There's a "political statement".
Let them try to stop it...
Our ancestors had the sand. Why dont we?
You can carry on university property. It says secondary schools...not post secondary schools.
Its just you'd get expelled if you were a student or fired if you were a teacher.
My first rounds fired in anger were with an M9, actually. I wasnt really angry though, truth be told...more scared.
Jammed after the 9th shot. Fortunately, that was enough.
At this point now, I've been using M9's for about 12 years. Over that time I've discovered a lot of things I don't...
I own both. They are both great sights. Here's the deal... if you shoot more with iron sights and own a 16" barrel M4 and shoot mostly 62 grain or 55 grain M193 or M855 ball... go with the GG&G. The bullet drop compensation works almost perfectly. Unfortunately, it lacks a ghost ring setting (I...
I've used both... In the same class (maybe not same price range) and size specs the Zeiss wins out for quality of optics (IE apparent image quality). I now own two Zeiss Conquest scopes and am completely satisfied with them.
One of the scopes is the model you are looking at... the 4.5-14x44mm...
My 7.62x51mm NDM-86 runs great on South African ball ammo... and US M80 ball as well. I've shot some of the steel cased chinese stuff and it handles that fine... as well as Black Hills 168 grain BTHP. Very accurate with that ammo as well.
Thanks for the news... I'm glad I got a good deal. Though, to be honest, I kinda knew the price range for the model and just did some wheeling and dealing. Also the owner was really nice.
Its gonna get a nice Milt Sparks summer special to sit in this spring. I'm not about to let this pretty...
$840 out the door with 2 mags, original case, manual, etc... Gun appears only fired at the factory.
How'd I do?
Hopefully I'll get to shoot it this weekend.
