Many of my friends prefer to buy their guns though a private sale, or off paper. They can legally buy guns at a store but prefer not to leave a paper trail. Is there any benefit in doing this? It seems like the prices are not such a good deal compaired to just buying a brand new gun at a store.

Walmarts around here seem to almost always have a few boxes of 40's. The 9's and 45's get bought up within a couple hours of stocking. but they usually get a couple shipments a week. Just got to time it right. The scarry part is sometimes they are out of 22's!
