    Losing powder on Lee Loadmaster

Has anyone else had any issues with losing powder when charging cases? Its not a lot but 10 or 20 grains(actually number of grains not 20 grains by weight) each cartridge, so after you do 200 it is a huge mess all over my bench and floor, not to mention a total waste of powder. Lee Load...

Lee Pro 100 or Lee Load Master for .223

I am looking at getting a new progressive for my .223 reloading and keep it dedicated to .223 only. What would be the recommended progressive press for .223 only? The Lee Pro 1000 or the Lee Load Master? These are the only two that are in my budget, as much as I would love a Dillon or...

Ok, I give up. What do you do with your primers on the Lee Pro 1000????

So on the Lee Pro 1000 it seems that the spent primers kick out after resizing and deacpping and send them into the "body" of the base of the press. How in the world do you empty that?? Are you expected to unbolt the press whenever the base gets full? Please tell me I am missing something and...

What have you found to be the best case trimmer.

I currently have a Lyman case trimmer that I modified to be able to use a drill with but the small handle that locks the case and the fact that its not really intended for a drill makes it not my favorite tool. What have you folks found to be the best, easiest and quickest trimmer? I am...

How much work is it to switch between calibers On the Lee Pro 1000

I just ordered my first progressive press, the Lee Pro 1000. I have been loading on my Lee single stage for over 10 years now so I am really looking forward to the new progressive. I am used to switching between dies for all the different stations and calibers so that is not a big deal to me...

Can I please get a little help identifying this rifle?

So this is a rifle I inherited in 1990 and I have had it out to the range a few times. It is a 30-06 but that is about all I know about it. I would be interested in what it is, its rarity, parts availability(the bolt has a broken piece. I would like to have an idea of what t would be worth also...

So I got sick of trimming cases by hand and needed some aid with this and take some pressure off of my arthritis ridden hands Based off of a recommendation from another member in my local club, this is what I came up with. This is the original handle on my Lyman case trimmer...

So for a couple years now I have been using Birchwood Casey Gun Scrubber but lately I have been hearing folks talking about using brake cleaner. I have, and I can get 3M High Power Brake Cleaner (#8880) from work for a couple of bucks. So my question is, can I just use the brake cleaner with the...

    Tumbling your brass

I am gonna ask some questions here as I have been doing things the same way for over 10 years now and I'm wondering how others are doing things or if things have changed any. So since I have been reloading I have always tumbled my brass, then resized/decapped. Now with rifle I use the Hornady...

Ruger M77 scope ring mounting options

I have an older(1970's) M77 and just got a new scope that I want to mount up. The Ruger mount rail is pretty small and looks like the ring mounts are pretty specific. The new scope is a 30mm tube and the rail attachment is the size for a picatinny rail. Any help or suggestions on how I can...
