No it’s not your bad luck. Quality control is non existent with most gun manufacturers today. Make as many as you can and push them out the door as fast as you can. They are all made by people who work piece work. They are called assemblers not gunsmiths. Some companies don’t even test fire them...

Keep the older 640 sell the rest and buy a Ruger LCR light weight super smooth trigger and many calibers to choose from.

My Ruger LCR 327 Federal magnum is a six shot and a great little gun and at 20oz fully loaded you can't beat that for a six shot Magnum stubby. Mike

A Beautiful gun to look at and keep in the safe just to bring out now and then to drool over but over rated for any kind of hard use. I speak from experience I had one. But like I said they sure are pretty. A true collectors idem.

I had one and had all kinds of problems with it. I played the shipping it back and forth game a couple times then dumped it. Bought a Glock 42 and love it. Yea it's a little bigger but it works! Good luck.

I Owen both semi autos and revolvers and if you ask me revolvers are a pain to clean. Cleaning each chamber then the barrel running the brush then the patches thru each one until they come out clean but that's just me. I can clean my Glock in 10 mins with two patches and a q-tip. I can take it...

I use Winchester white box in my full auto UZI and it runs great . The UZI requires hotter ammo because the bolt is so heavy moving it back-and-forth with Remington and federal it runs so much slower. I like it.

Nope I put hundreds and hundreds of rounds thru my LCR 38spl. With all types of ammo. Great gun.

The odds of getting a S+W revolver that's 98% right out of the box is about 65%..... 100% never happen. Even there performance Center guns is about 90% Believe me I speak from experience I sent three back within the last year. Their quality control or should I say lack of sucks!
