    Need help dating a S&W model 15

Can anyone look it up for me. I just acquired it through a trade. First part of serial number is 17K5xxx. Also, this may be a stupid question, but the pin on the hammer is sort of loose. Is that normal? I have never owned one if these older revolvers. Thanks all

    Scope eyepiece touching ...help

I wanted to consult the experts on this. Using weaver medium rings on a Savage 93R17 to mount a 3-9x40. The objective sits a few mm above the barrel (perfect), but the eyepiece just barely touches the receiver in one spot. Is this okay or should I change to high rings? Thoughts?

Butler Creek Flip-Up Covers for Elite 3200

Those were the sizes I found also...for future searchers reference...THESE ARE THE WRONG SIZES I just got these sizes in. The objective cover fits very snug and the eyepiece cover was extremely snug, too snug, and caused the cover to really bulge. I'm gonna have to take it into a shop about a...

Elite 3200 or Nikon Omega on an inline ML

I have a CVA inline muzzleloader that I am going to use for hunting. I am between the Bushnell Elite 3200 or the Nikon Omega. Both will be 3-9x40. I do not want the BDC Reticle so don't take that into consideration. Which would you choose and why?

CVA Optima .50 Muzzleloader Scope Recommendations

I just bought me a CVA Optima in-line muzzleloader for next year's deer season. I got the nickel finish with Hardwoods Green camo stock and forearm. I wanna put a scope on it and since it is my first muzzleloader I'm not sure what works best. I've been eyeing the Nikon Omega BDC and the...

    Marlin Model 336 (30-30 Win)

I know I love mine. I found the old girl in a pawn shop and took it out the door for $250. I mounted a Nikon Prostaff 2-7x32 on top and she'll keep 2" groups at 100 yards. Mine is a 1968 and is in great shape. This was before the cross bolt safety and the Walnut is gorgeous. It's one of my...

Millett Buck Gold 4-16x56 SF & Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-16x40 SF, OPINIONS PLEASE

Alright Gents I have a chance to get a Bushnell Elite 3200 4-12x40 for a good deal. If I threw the Bushnell Elite 3200 in the mix which would you choose? My last Bushnell was a Banner and it is currently at their shop getting repaired so I'm a little weary of them. What say you?

Millett Buck Gold 4-16x56 SF & Nikon Buckmasters 4.5-16x40 SF, OPINIONS PLEASE

Okay, pretty overwhelmingly Nikon. Point Taken. I also have seen some negative comments on the Mil-Dot reticle. If I got the Nikon I was planning on going with the Mil-Dot. Would I be better off to get it in the NikoPlex reticle? All my other scope have duplex reticles like the NikoPlex. I...
