I have a winchester 1300 and i bought an unventilated barrel for it for HD. I have cut the barrel down to 18.5" and squared up the end pretty nicely. Now I just need to install a bead sight but I have no idea how to center it! Any suggestions?

I have a colt ar15 that i play with a lot and the original black finish has worn down to the bare aluminum on several spots. I kinda like the way it looks but im wondering if the aluminum will oxidize where it is exposed? If so, I guess I can give it a coat of paint, but I'd rather leave it as is.

I have a Winchester 1300 in 12ga with a full choke barrel. The barrel is marked for 2-3/4" shells only. If I wanted to shoot 3" shells or larger, would the only thing needed be a different barrel? Or is there a difference with a magnum receiver?
