With Winchester I have experienced split casings, squib loads, bad primers/seating, and even some rounds that were so out-of-spec that they wouldn't chamber even if you tried dropping the round into the barrel with the pistol disassembled... While the majority of the malfunctions I experienced...
Winchester QC has gone WAAAYYYYYY down! I too have found dinged up rounds of PDX1. Even found split cases on some rounds... I'll upload a picture when I get a chance. This is the only ammo that occasionally causes my firearms to misfunction. I have since parted with Winchester. No longer for me...
$800 isn't bad for what you're getting I suppose. Buddy of mine bought a brand new HK USP .40 compact for $700 not even a year ago. It was the stainless steel slide version. Gorgeous pistol... He did a bunch of online research before finally getting lucky and finding it for that price. I applaud...
I agree. Too many variables. I ruled out limpwristing because I myself tried manually racking that round into the chamber and the slide just wouldn't fully seat into battery. I even gave the slide a little tap on the rear... But nothing. Maybe the round was out of spec??? Just seems weird to me...
Took my fiancé and the new Glock 27 out for a day of shooting today and to my surprise had 3 malfunctions. Shot 50 rounds of 180 gr. American Eagle with no problems and 50 rounds of Winchester (white box) with a total of 3 malfunctions. I believe it to be a ammo problem... Here's why: The first...
Maybe Lonewolf will make a .32 NAA conversion barrel as well! I know it's not a popular caliber... But then again neither is a 9x25 Dillon-which I learned about shortly after purchasing a G29 SF. Talk about a fun round! Never shot a .32 NAA but it would be interesting to see what kind of...
I've carried AIWB since I started carrying a Glock 27 five years ago. I now carry a G29 sf and it conceals well. And I'm 5'5" 135 lbs. The thing I've realized about appendix carry is that you almost need a "slim build" to make it work comfortably. I like the "hump" on Glock backstraps. Makes...
Been carrying AIWB for years now using a Don Hume H715 with either a G27 or G29. Now I'm ready for other options! What holsters would you reccomend for AIWB? Anything below $60? This holster would be for the G29 as that is the CCW I carry most. Anyways, any opinions, thoughts, or otherwise input?
I live just 20 minutes South of the N82 Tactical location. I just bought one of their holsters for my Glock 29SF. Comfortable? Yes! Concealment? It makes my firearm dissappear at my 5 o' clock. As for the quality, absolutely well crafted! Stitching and the quality of the materials are great...
We have a no-carry rule at my job but my personal safety and well-being comes first. The boss and the rest of the staff are aware that I carry (I'm always talking about guns). They are fine with it. They know I'm a responsible gun owner. Sometimes I wonder why we even have that rule considering...
Dastard-D nailed it. I started carrying AIWB about three years ago. Started with a Glock 27. Moved into a Glock 29 just recently. The only thing that bothers me about this carry position is that it makes sitting and bending a but difficult. I'm always having to adjust when I get into and out of...
Btw... the replacement recoil spring assembly they sent me looked idential to the one that was giving me issues going into battery. But was marked 0-8-1 or 0-1-8. Can't remember which one! And it took two tries fo get the correct recoil assmebly. Never recieved the first one that was sent to...
That metal recoil spring u posted a picture of is a new recoil spring assembly. I bought a Gen. 4 Glock 27 about 4 months back and it came with the recoil spring pictured above and I had trouble with the slide not going fully into battery when I rode the slide forward. I would have to give it a...
