I have a fellow wanting to buy my SW M&P 15X but he doesn't have a valid Ky Driver license but he did ask if his Military ID would work. I've never ran across this before and wondering how you would handle it?? Looking for answers!! Sorry if I posted this in the wrong forum.
Anybody have any experience with this pistol? I'm looking to buy a 1911 type .22 and can't decide between this one, the Sig or Browning's. I can't tell from the pics but the grips appear to be a wrap around rubber of some kind...
I'm kinda lost on the Keymod thing and don't understand how it works. What about all the stuff I have that mounts to a picatinny rail. Do I have to buy a adapter for those?
EDIT: I did a YouTube search and found out how they work. Looks really neat but I don't see myself buying one anytime soon.
I understand. I had a Ruger LC9 and got rid of it because of the three inch trigger travel. I did look at the 938 the day I bought my LC9 and it felt really good in my hands.
What didn't you like about the 938? Just curious as I too was looking at getting a Remington 51 and from hearing several complaints about it have checked it off the list.
Several years ago my wife bought me a Colt .22 6" Diamondback revolver. Talk about a awesome gift!!! Of course I ended up trading in off in one of many deals I made over the years.
Thanks for all the info folks. After reading several threads and articles I went with a Ruger Hawkeye Sporter with a laminated stock.

Thanks for all the advice and info. I ended up ordering the Ruger M77 Hawkeye in .308. Here's a pic of it:

I'm torn between these two rifles in .308. The Tikka has a synthetic stock whereas the Ruger has a laminated. I've been told the Tikka is not a true short action but a long action with a stop. I know the Ruger will weigh a tad more but that really doesn't bother me. Also I can't find any...
Well my main problem is that my local gun stores don't carry all of those I have on my list so I'd have to drive to 3-4 different stores. I did own a Ruger M77 Varmint in .220 Swift but that was 25 years ago and it was a tack driver. I know nothing about any of the newer brands. Something I do...
Ok it's been several years since I've purchased a new centerfire rifle and I'm looking for opinions on quality, accuracy and dependability of a few brands. I've read some info on each of these rifles but would like to know your thoughts with those who actually owned them. I'm looking for a .308...
It's there but they make it harder to find than it should be!!! I had to look and triple check myself time and time again before placing the order!!
