    Marine ACOG adjustments

Does anyone know the precise clicks for meters? I know it won't be even numbers. Or if someone could tell me how to do the math, I'd appreciate it.

    Marine ACOG adjustments

I'm a Marine, and we use an ACOG on our rifles and carbines. One click is 1/3" at 100 meters, 1" at 300 meters, etc. The problem is that we shoot in yards at the range. This is a page from the USMC databook we use when firing. What's up with the clicks per inch with yards? With...

    ATI Talon on Mossberg 590A1

I know, I'm prepared for that. Definitely not buying a new shotgun.

    ATI Talon on Mossberg 590A1

I'm thinking of getting the ATI talon stock for a mossberg 590a1, with the intention of using the stock it comes with and getting a Magpul one later on. So I have a few questions. Will the ATI be compatible with any aftermarket stock? Will anything about the ATI (besides) the recoil pad reduce...

XTM Hand Stop Kit for a 590A1

Has anyone tried this on a pump shotgun? I'm thinking of putting one on my 590A1, along with an ATI stock/pistol grip, and a Command Arms railed forend. Any experiences?

    Shell stop problem

Actually it seems to work perfectly if I sort of catch the shell as it's coming out. And that way my finger doesn't get crushed between the brass and the front of the trigger group. Problem solved I guess. Still, I posted the problem on the Mossberg forum as well; well see what they have to say.

    Shell stop problem

The spring doesn't appear to be the problem. I'm having the same problem whether it's the first shell to leave the tube or the last. In fact, when it does come out the way it should after depressing the shell stop, it hits my finger with a good amount of force.

    Shell stop problem

Hm. That worked pretty well, but still... That's not the way you should have to do it, right?

    shotgun cleaning

Where exactly does it need oil? Should the bolt be oiled all the way around? The action bars? The mag tube where the slide moves over it?

    Shell stop problem

When it's stuck like that, no, the slide does not come all the way out of battery. Otherwise it works fine.

    Shell stop problem

So I recently picked up a 590A1, which I'm sure you all know by now, because this is my third question about it haha. The manual says that you should be able to empty the magazine by depressing the shell stop, which should allow each shell to spring out of the tube one by one. At least with...

    shotgun cleaning

Hm... I probably already got some in there from scrubbing the breech face with a brush soaked in Hoppes. Will it be simple to get it out of the firing pin channel? I bought some compressed air as per Dave's suggestion.

Oh this is rich, ruin a Glock with a lever "safety"

Yeah, M1911A1, Beretta 92FS, Hk USP, Browning Hi Power, CZ75 B... All complete garbage for dangerous amateurs.

    shotgun cleaning

I have a 590A1. I'm accustomed to cleaning pistols and rifles, but not shotguns. So far I've just brushed out the action and cleaned off the bolt face with some Hoppes #9 and a nylon brush. I'm not sure what else I have to do... I haven't tried taking the bolt out yet, because I know it'll be...

    Two questions about the 590A1

I just bought a Mossberg 590A1. I love it. It's the one with the 20" barrel, speed feed stock, and ghost ring. Two questions: I've been looking, and so far I haven't found a whole lot -- are there three dot tritium sights available for the 590A1? I found a front tritium post, but that's only...

Sig 290-will we ever see it?

I've been able to play with one quite a bit at work, and I'm not impressed. It's too damned small, at least for me, and the trigger is heavy and stacks really bad. And this is coming from a Sig fan. Also I thought the grips were tacky. It says "first edition" something or other. Which means...

Help me out with a Glock argument

YES. That's what I'm asking. But you don't think that would ever happen? EVER? That seems unlikely. There must be a speed at which it would happen. It may not be a realistic speed, but it's hard to believe it's impossible.
