I've been searching for a Red Dot style scope for my AR. I can find sub $100 cheapos, and $400+ nice ones. Does anyone make an affordable, decent quality red dot. The only one I have found is a Bushnell Trophy MP. $149, but I really don't like the T dot it has. Any suggestions?

I hate the thought of owning a "speciality round" gun. After researching, I found out the .17 HM2 exists, and cost about $4 per 50, instead of the $11 the HMR costs. So now I want one. Not sure why the HM2 has not taken off, especially since the savings is about 70%, I just don't think...

I picked up a new CW9 on Tuesday of this week. After I shot 50 rounds, I noticed this chip. I don't remember seeing it when I first got it, relubed it, etc... I'm guessing it happened somewhere between round 50 and 75, as I now have 75 rounds through it.

I have a EAA Witness Elite Match in 9mm. I love the gun, but I noticed the brass has lines in it when I first got it, but never really worried much about it. You can take something and scrape the inside of the chamber, and feel the machining ripples that is causing the lines in the brass...

I have a SAR 1, with less than 500 rounds through it. 46 boxes of ammo, 920 rounds. Most is the FMJ, not bimetal, Wolf ammo. 7 30rd mags, 1 10 and 1 5 rd mag. I have bought a AR and need to liquidate this to buy ammo, scope, and bling it out.

In general, how much play is a 1911 bushing supposed to have around the barrel? Is the most important part how tight the bushing is in the slide?
