Funny, usually I'm one of the few that defend Hi-Points, but tonight I'm being flamed for putting a twist on the post. Thought people would see the irony, but instead I see not. oh well.
I'll give it two days and read another hi-point bashing thread without anybody chiming into defend them.
The exact point of this thread, as discussed before, is the purpose such low cost firearms serve in the working class house hold.

Since when have I ever bashed hi-point??? I posted this in contradiction (with satire) of those that frequently discount them based on their opinion and not facts.
Don't be quick to over-react. The article posted speaks loud and clear that this weapon has a place in society.

Well, I took it out to the range. Only had one type of .22 pellets, and it didn't like those very well. Groupings were horrible at 25 yards. Of course, maybe it was my technique.

I wind up at the VA Specialty Clinic quite regularly. My doc does ask me about guns, usually what new ones I have and shares what new ones he has. A 20 minute appointment can turn into 45 minutes.
I don't draw unless I'm going to fire. Only drew once on a dog. Luckily it didn't attack, but I was going to fire.
I don't draw as a deterrent and I don't give warning shots.
Seek out those that want to Mentor others in this hobby. I've had two such kind folks set me up with a used Rock Chucker, dies, manuals, lead pot for casting, ladles, bullet molds, and lubrisizer.
