I saw a Henry Big Boy X 44 magnum today on the shelf and showed great restraint

I saw a 38/357 & a 44 mag for $899 the other day. That's a bit high around here. They also had a Ruger Mini-14 Tactical Stainless for $1399.99 so yeah, that's some high prices.

    Old guys

I just ordered a 4-16x44 for my 308. I like that it has 4x and I doubt I will ever shoot at over 10x. It's nice to be able to zoom in on targets or animals though. And yeah, it looks like the Hubble telescope. Everything else is red dot. Edit: I'm 68 years old.

    Savage Mark 2 F without accu-trigger?

I have a Walmart special I bought used 15 years ago. No AccuTrigger. Savage 93R17 that came with a Tasco 1.5-4x32 scope. If they cut any corners I haven't noticed. Still shoots fine if you clean it now and then.
