I got the new Ruger catalog yesterday and I noticed there was no 44 magnum Vaquero anymore. Even with the new Vaquero out, I was told that Ruger was keeping the large frame Vaquero for the 44M but I don't see it. Does anyone know for sure?

I've been thinking about getting a new .44 magnum and I've narrowed it down to the S&W 629 (6 1/2") and the Ruger Super Blackhawk (5 1/2"). I've read that the 629s have had a lot of problems in the past, but the endurance package fixed most (all?) of these issues (timing, excessive wear, etc.)...

Hi, Can someone tell me if the Sig P220 always has the heavy trigger pull for the first shot? After you insert the magazine and rack the slide (hammer cocked) is the first trigger pull heavy in this situation also? Thanks.

Hi all, I looked at one of these in a gun shop and even though it was brand new it had scratches on the slide. The guy who worked there said that the matte stainess finish on the slide scratched easily. In some of the pictures I've seen of these, the slides looked more polished than the one...
