    Next revolver GP100 4" or S&W 686 4"?

I had a 686 and 2 GP100's at the same time. I still have the 686. The GP100 is a tank and I have nothing against it, but the Smith is smoother, has much sexier lines and is no wimp. I don't think you can go wrong with either one, but for me it's S&W first.

    Trade for AR15

Yeah. Straight trade unless there is something extra with the AR.

Question about Mosin Nagant model 44 bolt

An M44 is more of a $150-200 gun, so value is affected a bit by matching. Both will only increase as time goes on.

    Mosin Nagant Choices

If you like the M44, get one. There will be 91/30's available for quite some time. The M44 won't do anything the 91/30 can't, but they're cool just the same. If you're patient, you should be able to find a M44 for about $150 or you can grab one easily for $200.

There is surplus 8mm from many different countries and configurations. Get a few others and try them until you find one your rifle likes.

What kind of Mauser and ammo?

    Kangaroo Carry

Seems like if the gun were a bit further under your armpit, it would be much more concealable.

The *largest* handgun for summer / winter CCW?

I've carried a full size 1911 and M&P in both summer and winter though I usually go with a compact version. I've also carried a G21 in winter OWB. I don't have a IWB holster for it or it would probably be carried more often.

First trip to the range with my new Garand

4 MOA? Unless those are 2" squares, I'm counting a little over 1.5.

    22" Barrel - 30-06 or .308?

I'd lean to the .308, but there's really not enough difference to worry about it.

    Trigger Job vs new Trigger?

If he just polishes, I doubt it will get anywhere near 2 lbs. It should make the trigger feel better and a good trigger can feel lighter than it is.

What should my next surplus rifle be?

Not a fan of the Steyr, mainly for the reasons you stated, so I'd go with one of the other two. The 1911 will probably be more accurate, but you will have to be careful about what ammo you use in it. It isn't as strong as the K31. And since you already have one of those, I'd probably choose the...

So I bought a AR now what?

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Stags are pretty straight foward AR's. You should be able to use any standard handguards for it, but unless you want to buy some tools for it or pay a gunsmith, you'll have to make sure any rail you get works with the end cap and delta ring set up...

Looking for new Center Fire long rifle?

If you actually want a long rifle, I'd say get a Swedish M96 Mauser. They're known for outstanding accuracy and have great ballistics for shooting at range. Also pretty much all ammo makers build rounds for them, so you can use modern cartridges in it. If you're looking for something more...

Do you like "loaded chamber indicators" on your pistols?

Generally don't care, but I definitely don't want anything that adds parts. The S&W M&P's barrel notch is and I've used it once in a while.

So i've decided, once i have the money, i'm just going to buy the best WASR-10 I find

Also depends on one inch at what range, 2 yds or 200 yds. If they are off by 1 inch at the common 100 yds, that's not much to worry about. Heck, most AK's you'd have a hard time telling.

327 Federal Mag rifle, yea or na

Nay for me. I'd just get a .357 Mag rifle. It will do everything and more. A little 110 or 125 gr will easily break 2000 fps out of a rifle if you want a flat shooting varmint load and you can go all the way up to 180-190 grainers if you need the other end of the spectrum. I do like .327 for...

    AR-15 Help?

If you are looking for a select fire AR/M16, you should probably ask in the NFA forum.
