    Traveling with firearm

All I will say about this is, if you are traveling on a Federal, State or county roads it is legal if following laws for the state you are in; that property is a right-of-way owned by the respective government. Basically, true for all Indian lands throughout the USA. However, once you pull of...

Believe that was revised in 2021 to allow for legal residents of the USA... Here you go... https://www.usconcealedcarry.com/resources/ccw_reciprocity_map/wy-gun-laws/ However, immaterial to the OP they never asked about WY.

Treat Us Like Criminals to get Concealed Carry Permit

Being a vet, and en ex-federal employee fingerprinting means nothing to me. And really not a big deal. It is a firm way of identifying someone. ID can be forged. And I wonder how many who are against fingerprinting send a DNA sample off to some ancestor company to find out where they came from?

Gun Selfies Unholstering In The Wild

Only photos of my guns are for insurance purposes and taken inside my house. I do not pose for photos with my handguns or rifles. However, due to the locations where I camp in MT, ID, WY, UT, I do carry open with no cloth in the way of accessing a weapon. However, I am far from the only person...

    Shooting on an empty stomach.

Shooting for fun; maybe, honestly never thought about it. However, I have eaten before and after shooting. I can even remember going out back after a large thanksgiving dinner and shooting with some of my relatives. However, if practicing for self-defense it would only make sense if your...

U.S. Self-Defense Laws Often Stricter Than Other Countries' Laws

"HE MIGHT." But he "MIGHT NOT." Might be a reason he said England and NOT the UK. Gun laws are different between England and Ireland. I have not been there for many years, but do believe is is customary for police in northern Ireland to be armed, and handguns were carried, Legally, by those in...

    Lemme see your Barbecue Gun!!

BBQ'ing while carrying my 9 lb Mark V Weatherby on my shoulder is not what I would consider to be a great day at the BBQ. But I would get gun envy when a friend shows up with his Barrett .50 cal. Only consolation is his shoulder would be really sore the next day from lugging that 20+ pounds...

Are your guns tools or collectors?

Tools to do a job, I hope I never have to do again, but prepared to do if needed! When Uncle Sam issued them to me, they were tools, the ones I have now for personal use are tools. Collector items are cameras. (I use them to shoot too.)

    Handgun For Dangerous Game

I hike early AM with the dogs (3-4AM) in the woods of Eastern Idaho. Common are black bear and mountain lions. I carry a .40 PX4 with 200 gr Buffalo bore FNHC ammo and a large container of bear spray. I also make sure to make a lot of noise with the dogs. Never used the spray or the gun, in...
